Low Degradation & Longer-Lasting UVB Radiation – LUCKY HERP 23W UVB 10.0 reptile light bulb is continuously updated with technology to ensure low degradation of UVB radiation, providing long-lasting and stable UVB output. This continuous and stable UVB radiation is crucial for the health of reptile pets. Our UVB light bulb can provide your pet with longer-lasting UVB exposure, with a UVB lifespan of up to 1 year, reducing the need for frequent bulb replacements.
Simulate Natural Sunlight Environment – The UVA UVB reptile light bulb can simulate the sunlight exposure environment found in the natural habitats of desert areas, providing 10% UVB and 30% UVA output. UVB helps reptile pets synthesize vitamin D3, promotes calcium absorption, and supports bone and metabolic health. UVA light not only enhances reptiles’ appetite, digestion, and reproduction but also stimulates natural activities such as foraging, mating, and exploring.
High Brightness & High Color Rendering Index – Our UVB bulb is constantly improved to be brighter than ordinary reptile lamps, providing a bright and natural lighting environment for your reptiles. With a color rendering index as high as 90%, it is closer to the sun spectrum, realistically restoring the natural colors of reptiles. This means your pet’s colors will appear more vivid and lifelike under the light, allowing you to better observe their natural beauty and enhance their visual comfort.
Wide Applications – This UVB 10.0 light bulb is specifically designed for desert and high sunlight-requiring reptiles, suitable for all desert-dwelling reptiles such as bearded dragons, lizards, leopard geckos, iguanas, tortoises, snakes, and other desert reptiles and amphibians. It is compatible with various standard E26 lamp bases, 120V, making installation and replacement convenient. We recommend replacing the bulb every 6 to 12 months to ensure continuous effective UVB output.
Excellent After-Sales Service – LUCKY HERP is committed to providing every reptile enthusiast with the best customer experience. If you have any questions, you can contact LUCKY HERP customer service at any time. Our light bulb is the ideal choice for providing reptile lighting.

The brightness and quality receive mixed feedback – while some find it very bright, others say it’s not as bright as expected, and while some consider it a great little bulb, others report poor quality. The functionality and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some saying it works great while others report it stops working and consider it not worth the money. The bulb’s lifespan is concerning, with multiple customers reporting it only lasts 4 months before burning out.

The money you save is in the product you use.
I normally buy these particular UVB lights from Serpentarium, which are very expensive, yet there is not a guarantee that they will last three months, though it did. There really is not much of a difference between a Serpentarium Lugarti bulb and this one upon comparison that I can observe. I think that the UVB bulb would last longer if it was in a single light fixture as opposed to a dual light fixture that can burn out the UVB faster with heat generated nearby in a ceramic or heat light.

Going good for 2 months now
Update (couple/few monts later) – About a month after writing this original review, the light stopped coming on with my timer. I have other light sources as mentioned so I didn’t prioritize replacing the bulb. Lo and behold a couple weeks later it just magically started working again and has been now for well over a month. Go figure. Maybe bulb is sentient and demands vacation? LolAdded this to my new 4x2x2 bioactive setup for my ball python. Many people say BPs don’t need UVB, and the ones that do often spend a lot on t5 style tubes.Since I already have a basking lamp as well as LED grow lights for the plants, I went with this CFL style of UVB light to both save money and have a smaller footprint to work with. It’s been going strong for a couple months now. Hopefully it lasts

Lucky HERP Bulb â Turning Mushu into a Sun God
I got this bulb for my bearded dragon, Mushu, and now he struts around his tank like heâs king of a tiny, sandy kingdom. The Lucky HERP UVA/UVB bulb basically turned his basking spot into a dragon day spa. Heâs more active, his colors are popping, and I swear he gave me a smug look the other day like, âFinally, peasant, proper lighting.âIf this bulb keeps him healthy and full of attitude, Iâll keep buying them. 10/10âMushu says âhissâ means âthanks.â

Not worth buying a bulb and getting it shipped to you just to be broken
Did not work. It was broke. Won’t buy again. And its hell to return. I have to take it 45 miles to a ups store and then 45 miles back home. You will use more in gas than what it cost. Not worth it.

Sunbathing SuperstarâLights, Camera, Action!
Calling all reptile enthusiasts! If you want to see your scaly pal in their element, the UVA UVB Reptile Light is a game changer. My bearded dragon, “Buttercup”, has never been happier. Since installing this light in his tank, itâs like heâs found his personal slice of desert paradise right here in our living room. This light is the VIP ticket to a healthier, happier reptile. It bathes Buttercup in those essential rays that keep his scales looking like polished armor. The dual UVA and UVB features ensure heâs getting a full spectrum experience, essential for his mood and metabolism. Now, every day is a good scale day!But hereâs the best part: under this glorious light, my bearded buddy has started performing what I can only describe as the “song of his people.” Imagine him singing the silent but timeless tales of dragon folkloreâor maybe heâs just really excited about his next mealworm. Either way, heâs in his happy place, and itâs a joy to watch.Five stars to this reptile light for turning my bearded dragonâs tank into a tropical retreat where he can sing, bask, and be the rockstar he was always meant to be. Now if only this light could get him to clean up after himselfâ¦

This bulb is perfect!
Great value for the price! The light is very bright, and she loves it (even though she looks like she doesnt she’s just judgmental)! Her light had been out for a few days and none were in stock near by, Amazon had great and fast shipping with careful packaging! I will definitely be buying them again!

Faulty product
Marco –
The product operating voltage is 110. Since I bought it for use in UAE from Amazon store it is not compatible and got damaged immediately.
Autumn Chambers –
I’m not sure if 7 months is a good lifespan for these bulbs or not. Maybe someone else would know. Ordering our second one today. Not sure what to rate it. It was great while it lasted??!!! ð Only rated 3 because I have no idea if 7 months is good or bad. My household bulbs last for years. No other experience to go by.
Chris ottie –
Installed as soon as I got it, only to see that 20% of the bulb was working. Return requested.
