Little loud but my birds love it
I was worried that it was too loud and would scare my budgies but I’ve caught them playing with it many times now

Fun Bird Toy
My green cheek conure loves this toy! Itâs an interactive toy that makes a rolling sound, so itâs not too noisy!
I am not impressed with this design at all. I much prefer the old ones. Having arthritis and hand issues these are about impossible for me to get these apart for cleaning. –
Cool new bird toy
It took the bird a bit to attempt to play with itBut once she investigated it she started moving it and playing with it. I am going to buy another for my other bird.

Fun in Theory
I’m not sure what to make of this bird toy. It’s smaller than I expected, and not at all colorful. I don’t know if that’s why my Hahn’s McCaw has ignored it, or if it’s just going to take a while for her to warm up to it. She spooks easily and if there’s any issue with a toy, she’ll avoid it for a long time, if not forever. So one of the main issues I have with it is that the mechanism to attach the toy to the cage is just barely large enough to span the space between the bars. And only if you have positioned it perfectly. It took several failed attempts to get it to stay in place. And even then, when I went to the cage this morning, I noticed that it was moved a good distance, even though I’d tightened it as much as I possibly could. That’s the kiss of death for her if a toy falls off or tips over when she tries to play with it. I’m guessing she finally decided to check it out, and it detached from the bar, meaning it wasn’t as secure as I thought it was. That may be impossible to accomplish a solid fit with the style of cage and spacing between the bars that we have.Other than that, I liked the concept for her. My Hahn’s loves to spin things. She loves to make toys make noise, so this seemed like a good fit. I’m still hoping she’ll warm up to it, and that we’ll manage to attach it firmly enough that it won’t fall off when she plays with it. I’ll report back if we figure it out and she starts enjoying it.

Very small birds ONLY. Not for medium birds or larger
Overall Iâd say this is a good bird toy for LITTLE birds. Budgies, parakeets, lovebirds, etcDepending on your bird⦠anything bigger than a green cheek conure or Quaker could break the plastic. Even that size of bird could break this toy. Nearly any bird with a hookbill. I know some birds that could break this toy that wouldnât attempt it but you would still have to supervise your bird closely with this toy if itâs even slightly larger than a budgie. The description in this bird toy specifically mentions African grey, cockatoos, cockatiel⦠âmediumâ sized birds and thatâs extremely incorrect as itâs not a toy for a medium sized bird. Itâs too dangerous and a serious health and safety risk.If the seller changed the description then I would say I would recommend this product for SMALL birds because itâs cute and interactive. If you have a budgie or similar sized small bird then they could enjoy playing with this. I did have to move the nut on the back of the toy to get it to continue spinning after being tightened down onto the cage.I STRONGLY advise the seller change the description to accurately reflect which birds could safely play with this toy before someoneâs bird gets injured or worse.

Not a safe toy for my parrot
I have a Senegal parrot, which is considered at the smaller end of the medium category of parrots. This Parakeet Bird Toy stated it was for Budgies, Noble parrots, Kecks (I donât know what a Keck is, and neither does GOOGLE), Cockatiels, Cockatoos, Amazon parrots, and other medium-sized birds. So, my Senegal safely fit in the middle of that category. I ordered this toy, as my parrot is always looking for new toys to entertain himself. This toy is so fragile, with little parts that could be broken off so easily by a medium-sized parrot. My parrot would have this plastic toy in tiny pieces and possibly would swallow these tiny plastic beads as well in a matter of minutes. It would be dangerous for me to put this in his cage. There are some hard plastic toys that work just fine for medium-sized parrots. This plastic is not strong enough. Just to put things in perspective, there is a world of difference between the little beak of a parakeet and the hookbill of my Senegal parrot, and even more so with that of an Amazon or a Cockatoo, which are much bigger medium-to-large-sized parrots, comparatively. Descriptions are important, as is safety. I highly suggest the seller change their description to only include parakeets and other small birds as their target users.
