Why can not pump
The cleaner pumping function is work by siphon effect.
Put the start water line which below the handle into water when you use the cleaner and turn on the switch.
If the water level is really too low, you can take out the No. 2/3/4 extension tube and pump directly by the No. 1 sand-washer mainframe.
Please be careful avoid over the water level above the guard line.
About the suction
You can remove the gravel cleaner when clean the fish manure，and pump by pipe directly

Don’t buy. Broke after two months of only using 6 times
Update it completely broke on me changed batteries to brand new batteries and will not turn on. Such a dissapointmemt would give negative stars if I could.Semi works, I did not get the plug that it was supposed to come with, so had to buy batteries. The net bags clog quickly not super powerful. No paper instructions. Kinda difficult to put together. Over all don’t buy it, is semi useful but not really. Have to use it till I can afford a better one

It’s cheap and a cheap product
It’s quite hard to use it the tube keeps falling and you have to hold with your hand. The extension tube keeps shortening and you have to be careful with the power plug but to be sunk. You have to keep the hose connection inside the water (remember you are doing your weekly water change and the level is supposed to lower!! It’s her tricky). The pictures show the part that keeps disconnecting (the screw thread is too thin). They should consider a better connection to hold the 2 parts together during the operation. The tubes slide in but it’s hard to return to the position m the end of the tube keeps falling.I would recommend a total makeover, the most basic would be to shorten the tube and position the helix closer to the end (water intake), and keep the electrical parte way about the water.

Not worth it. Withing 2 minutes the power cable broke and even though you can use batteries with it the suction isnt good and you have to hold the botton to use it. Waste of time

I at first thought it was a piece of junk and started a return. I couldnât get it to produce suction. Turns out there was a spare short tube section in the larger diameter pick up tube that connects to the pump that was preventing a full seal. Took me a few minutes to get it out but once I did it works great! I do notice that it randomly will stop pumping. Just flip it off and on quickly and it will start back up again. also make sure you stop using it before the bag is to full or it will pop off and suck up clean water from the tank before removing otherwise you distribute waist throughout the tank. Overall good product for the price!!

Must have handy tool for aquarium owners!
Took a risk on a brand new item with 0 reviews because it was affordable and…NOT DISAPPOINTED! ð I have a live-planted 60 gallon Cichlid/Semi-Aggressive fresh water tank no where near access to a water spigot for traditional water changes with those high priced gravel vacuums.. This little thing cleaned up all the fish crap from my gravel easily! Easy to assemble, filter bags are washable and reusable!I’m legit leaving this at 5 stars even though I have some very very small complaints that are more annoyances than anything: 1) the unit will come apart at the pipe attachments if you’re too vigorous.. Which breaks suction and makes you have to reassemble it.. and get wet..eee. ð 2) Filter bags get full FAST if you have a big tank! Be prepared to change them or clean them many times if you have a large tank or… goldfish lol. 3) The gravel cup at the end gets bigger rocks stuck in it constantly. Don’t think the slats need to be that wide?If you need something inexpensive to get your gravel clean of poop in a tank in a crazy location.. this is awesome!! The pump is powerful, the power cord is long, and you can use the battery option if you want too! Love it!

Donât buy.
Well I was so excited to receive this, thinking it was going to make my axolotl tank so much easier to clean but it didnât. It was basically a waste of money and time. Now I need to go out of my way to return rbis stupid thing. It literally worked for two seconds and died. Sounded like it burnt out. So I let it sit a few minutes and then it works again for a few minutes then did it again. Burnt out. Very stupidly how itâs made. It says on the pole ( I attached pics ) tbat the water must be a min of here, but at the same time max here also .. at the very same spot is the mini yams maximum basically. WTF! How is tbat even possible. Uou have to basically how the filter part in the water fir it to work , but you canât have the water go any further tbat that little line at the same time (the min/max line) so how are you supposed to be able to move around to clean. Because it also only seems to do anything if you tilt it sideways. If you have it straight up and down it does nothing and even then when it does it barely sucked up an old blood worm for that. Suction sucks. Wish Iâd invested a few more bucks in a decent one tbat I wouldnât have to waste my time money and gas now to go return this thing because A. Itâs junk B. It is burnt out or died on me within two seconds (plugged in this is also. I didnât use it battery opperated ). Iâd love to send this seller a video of this dead cleaner showing how it does nothing at all when plugged in now and get a refund or at least the least a new one tbat works even though I donât have high hopes for this thing period. Very very unhappy with this Amazon purchase and I never leave reviews ever

It is great that when you suck up the stuff on the bottom, that it goes into that little bag that hangs on the side, you must maintain keeping this below water level. Once you figure out how to put it together, it is great. I went through two of these until I figured it out, as I destroyed the first one. It needs more instruction on how to put it together accurately.

This is really a very average product. So hard to get just the right height in the aquarium water level to actually work, supper frustrating. In the end i gave up using it and bought a FLUVAL that has worked perfectly from day 1.
