MOUNTING BRACKET
The bracket is adjustable to fix the aquarium light for 18”~24” cube rimmed and rimless tank.Horizontal length is adjustable between 5.9”~11.8”, height is between 5.9”~9.8”.You can extend and shorten the length of the bracket according to your needs, please make sure the screws are installed correctly.
EFFICIENT HEAT DISSIPATION

Good for the price
Looking for a good light at a decent price? This is the light you should buy. Definitely need more than one if you want your plants to grow straight up instead of towards the light. Very easy to put together. Made of a metal so very sturdy. It is so bright I leave it at about 50%. Looks sleek. Works well and is not too heavy.

The customer service is everything you want from a seller. When the intelligent control system was acting up, the seller immediately sent a new WiFi controller.3. The product as whole is everything you need to enjoy your fish tank. Watch the fish interact with the living and nonliving components and the kiddos will ace their ecosystem knowledge.

Great light for plant life in fish tanks
Light works great and comes with a remote to schedule on/off times. Can adjust the arm. Easy to install. The plants in the fish tank have done great .

Timer is Junk. Hardware is questionable. Return Window closed, or It’d be returned
Does NOT hold Time of day. Set for 10Hr run time, on 11Am off 9PM. It will hold the 10 hrs, but drifts back by 1 hr daily. Also, the screw holding the light fixture to the arm. Either the screw is plastic, and the female part is metal, or the scew is metal, and the female part is plastic. I do not remember, and it is so fragile, I do not want to touch it to find out. It’s not a good design, I am scared to even nudge it.. It is not worn out from use, I have set this up once the day I got it. It was junk design out of box.. Light is great, Timer and hardware, meh, not so much

Edited my review because I was foolish and my outlet died. The lamp is working as great as ever! I love the light quality and how deeply it penetrates my cube tank. Can’t recommend enough for the price point!

Noisy power supply
Wanted to give the asta 30 light a 5 star for output but had to send one of the two back. The power supply that came with one of the lights makes a terrible high pitched noise whenever it was plugged in. Headache style high pitched noise that you couldn’t ignore especially if in your bedroom. Makes me question quality like others have mentioned in reviews. Hoping new one is quiet and last. Light output is really good for my planted 40 breeder and possible change star rating once new one is quiet.

Tremendous for planted tank
My 20 gallon hex tank came with a lid and a light which proved insufficient for the health of my planted tank. Within a week of installing this light, my plants began to thrive.I like the timer feature which turns the light on each day at the same time, and turns the light off after 2, 8, 10, 12, 16 or 18 hours, all set from the remote. Light also has multiple dimming settings.I did construct a different lid since the one that came with the tank didnât permit enough light to enter the tank.

Seems to be an issue with production
I’ve purchased 3 of these to go on my discus aquarium, and after reading reviews, I thought I’d give it a shot. They work great, (app is garbage), but they seem solidly built and my fish look nice under them. The problem, I’ve discovered, is that one of my lights seems to be the saltwater version. Product packaging confirms they should all be freshwater, and no label exists on the lights themselves that would indicate fresh v salt. But one light is noticeably bluer, and the dead giveaway is a violet UV LED that I can see in the reflection on my glass aquarium lid.My guess is that the light boards have been mixed back in the production facility.I will be trying to buy a replacement, I think they are worth the extra effort, and I hope this company can provide an app that is designed more with home aquarists in mind. The app seems more built to control ambient LED arrays. There’s a party strobe setting for crying out loud, but no sunrise or sunset.With a few improvements on the tech side, these will be an unbeatable option for people who aren’t interested in growing plants.
