THE PERFECT SIZE: The 32oz bottle is designed for Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs and other small animals. The bottle is weather resistant and can be used in outdoor environments. Not all small animals need the same amount of water. For the 32oz we use a 7/16-inch tube that is large enough to accommodate the water needs of the pets noted above.
VACUUM SEAL: Lixit bottles work by forming a vacuum to hold the water inside. It is important to fill the bottle all the way to the top and ensure the cap is on tight to prevent leaking. Some dripping when the bottle is first turned over is normal.
QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL: Our tubes are made of the same 304 grade stainless steel in food preparation. We polish our tubes until they have the same satin finish that is found in quality silverware. Each tube is hand coned on the end to ensure that it has a smooth tip that will not harm your pet.

Does NOT leak!!!
Great little dripper. We just got a 6 week bunny and it’s working perfect for him. Best part it doesn’t leak. Drips just enough. It’s a good size and water amount. I have to refill about every 2days. Design is also cute that’s a plus. UT also comes with the metal ring to hook it onto the cage. I was looking for zip ties until I realized it was included. I thought it was part of the packaging so make sure you don’t toss it

Don’t waste your money!
I have bought this water bottle twice over the past 6 years as a quick cheap in need purchase. 1st when I initially got my small animal (chinchilla) and it was from Walmart and was useless within a week or so. It leaked everywhere until empty. So I having a new animal did some research to find what water bottle was good and may last and settled on getting a glass bottle. It was a great choice that lasted 5ish years till my daughter accidentally broke it resulting in the recent 2nd purchase. Knowing how good the glass bottle is made it my 1st choice but I was in immediate need and hoped it would be OK at least temporarily till I could afford the better one. However, it was leaking after day 1 and within a the week was leaking till empty within a hour. So while it was cheap, it was just about completely useless even just to last a few weeks. I believe it’s the product being a flimsy plastic bottle it creates too much air as soon as the animal tries to drink and creates a bubble between the bead and the nozel and while this seems like it should have a fixable solution like squeeze air out, it doesn’t. It is like the ball is too light and suction upward creating too much space for liquid to leak out and gets worse each time the animal drinks even with attempts to correct. I am a very frugal (possibly cheap lol) person but some purchases are a complete waste of money and I believe this is one of them. And based on my experience with purchasing the same exact item from very different places this not a fluke. I try to write a review for exceptionally great purchases and the exceptionally bad and this was definitely bad enough to warrant a warning for others not to waste the money.

Really good, but you need to know how to use
Was a little skeptical at first because i was looking for a leak-proof bottle and many negative reviews made me doubt its quality, but I’ve been using it for more than 6 months and it has not let me down yet. I just remember to squeeze some water out of the bottle after filling it up, and it does not leak on me. Might be a bit unusual at first, but you get used to it really quick, and the large capacity and high quality plastic mean that I don’t have to refill the bottle as often as I used to with a smaller one. Would recommend this.

I LOVE LIXIT WATER BOTTLES!
I’ll say it once and i’ll say it again; Lixit water bottles are the ONLY bottles I know of that don’t leak. I’ve tried kaytees. I’ve tried Petco brand, i’ve tried PetSmart’s brand, and NONE of them are as reliable and leakproof as every lixit bottle i’ve gotten. I’ve now used 3 different models of lixit bottle; the 16 oz, 8oz, and the tiny vertical ones that are bite resistant. NONE of them leak, NONE of them have gotten clogged. It is very rare for me to swear by a mass company, but lixit does it right every time, regardless of the type of bottle. Also, if you walk into any U.S. petstore, you will start to notice that they don’t use their own brand of water bottles; instead, they use what looks to be a bottle branded to their store… that’s somehow identical to Lixit’s wide mouth bottle…
