Great for Breeders!
I breed mice and these things are a lifesaver. I attach them to the outside of the cage, flat on the cage lid with the nozzle poking through. They work perfectly, no leaks, even baby mice can use them with ease.

This water bottle works great – no leaks!
I have actually bought two 6 packs of these bottles. They do not leak – they may drip a few drops when you first put them in the cage, but then they stop. I have tried 4 other brands and these are the first ones that work consistently (and you don’t have to kill yourself trying to screw the lid on extra tight). I raise rabbits, and I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a water bottle.

Great and minimal leakage
These are great bottles at a fantastic price per bottle. I use 2 in my rabbit condo and the bottles have minimal leakage. To get minimal leakage I: 1) fill the bottle to top 2) screw on cap 3) tip bottle upright over sink 4) tap on top of bottle 2-3 times over the sink. That seems to pressurize the bottle and only a few drops happen when I attach to the cage. Much better than the Quick Fill Bird Bottle Large, 33.81-Ounce I tried before. That slow leaked all night and left a large puddle on the bottom of cage. Luckily my floors are stained concrete and my rabbit cage bottom is easy to clean. Highly recommend the Lixit 32 oz.

I wanted to love these but out of the four I set up, four leak. The other two I have not tried. One is missing a wire. Will be returning. What a mess of brand new shavings, lavender bedding and washable rugs.

Best bottle for the price, from a great company. Lixit is American owned, American manufactured, and I will keep supporting them as I have for years already. The bottle design is simple, yet effective. The tube for the 16-32 ounce bottle fits in #2 mesh (and/or) 1/2″ hardware cloth perfectly, and the tube for the 8-ounce bottles fits #3 mesh (1/3″ wire spacing) perfectly. You will have to stretch a hole in 1/4″ wire for the 8oz type nipple.I have no chewing or similar problems from my animals with these bottles, even with the square edge shoulder design. The main reason the animals chew is lack of access to nutrition and hydration. Full bottles don’t get chewedBuy whatever variation of these great bottles you need, I’m about to reorder more myself

Perfect size for what I needed
I realize these are for smaller creatures but I needed something small for my Shih Tzus sleeping kennels so they had access to water at night. These are the perfect size. All my dogs drink from these types of bottles. Pluses perfect size and hardly drop, cute little green turtle to indicate water line, barely drip. Negatives, wire hanger is flimsy and doesn’t keep the bottle secured to kennel, 1 bottle came with a hole I didn’t find until I started filling it, and I couldn’t figure out how to get ahold of the seller to get it replaced. I recommend but find a better way to secure the bottle and check all bottles for holes.

No impressed – 6 of the 9 water bottles constantly drip and leak basically becoming empty while soaking the cage bedding within a couple hrs of being filled – and now Amazon is saying the item it not returnable to seller – do not purchase.

For anyone who is having leaking issues, refill the bottle, squeeze it with the tube facing the ground and flick the metal ball a few times.If there’s an air bubble stuck in the metal tube behind the ball it makes them seem to syphon the water out.Not a fault as such, we’ve had it happen to heaps of different brands, even the expensive glass bottles.
