The Little Giant WGP-65-PW is ideal for use in waterfall and stream applications, this powerful direct-drive pump features a unique dual discharge design for operation of two water features simultaneously. This pump is extremely versatile, able to be used vertically or horizontally. Powerful direct-drive pump produces greater starting torque and flow pressure than comparable magnetic drive submersible pumps. Corrosion resistant body designed for non potable submersible use. 1.25-inch female pipe thread discharges, 1-inch barbed 90° elbow adapter included. Designed for ponds up to 1200 gallons; 1900 GPH; 20-ft. shut-off.

GREAT Pump .. STILL GOING STRONG!!! (2011 – 2018)
WONDERFUL pump. I previously had the pump just under this one. It was given to me by a friend who used it for two years … we used the pump for an additional 3 years before it broke. BUT, the ONLY reason it went out was because during the night a storm hit, put a huge hole in liner, water ran out and pump ran dry. This pump is SO much better, the flow is EXCELLENT!!!!! Very, very, very worth the little extra cash. Strongly recommend!!REVISION 6/2018: JUST OMG .. this pump!!!! Iâm almost scared to say how much I love it!! It is still working!!! This pump is AMAZING!! Its 2018 .. we purchased in 2011. We just purchased a new skimmer … the previous skimmer was a DIY and apparently wrong size (donât do this btw .. do yourself a huge favor and spend $100 for a good skimmer) So now the two waterfalls are flowing wonderfully!! Iâm not gonna lie, I had to go outside and check to make sure we had not replaced this pump before updating this review. We just havenât had good luck with much of anything on the pond so this is a major win and deserves a good review. If I could give more stars I would.Iâm attaching a few pictures that were taken a couple years back (donât laugh at my DIY skimmer) .. just wanted to show size of pond that I am powering w/ the pump. I will try to remember to update w/ a video after we are finished cleaning to show the flow of waterfall. Also .. please note their is a huge oak tree above the pond (canât see Oak in these pics) This tree drops SO many leaves and those pollen things (I call them pollen-pillars bc they look like caterpillars) .. this stuff is a nightmare to have over a pond. But the new skimmer and THIS pump work awesome at keeping it clean. Very impressed!!EDIT: 11.29.2020 – Still going strong!!!! 🙂

Great pump for waterfall pond. Good life, easy install, problem free
Little giants are great pumps. They are durable. I use this pump in a waterfall that rises about 15â and about 25â from pump to upper basin. Very solid stream of water for waterfall effect. Spring through fall I run them 7-24. I store them in the dead of winter and usually get about 5-6 years out of them. Price from amazon is much lower than specialty stores. If you use this in an area where leaves and debris might get into the water and to the pump, I highly recommend putting it in a heavy duty plastic mesh bag so it doesnât suck them into the impeller or block the water intake. My pond is under some trees so before I added the mesh bag I was having to clean the water inlets periodically. The pump still worked but it impeded water flow. With the bags I havenât had to worry about that anymore. Power Cord is about 12-15â long to reach an outlet away from the water. I remove mine every winter to prevent freezing and reinstall in the spring.

The pump I bought quit pumping. In 5 months it has a 3 year warranty.Very pleased with the customer service. Had to jump through some hoops. When I completed them.I received my new pump in record time.I want to thank the Amazon warranty department.I will stay with little giant water fall pump. Iâve always had good results. Except for this one! Which they stood behind their product.

Over the years I have bought several of these pumps but the lack of performance and support on my last purchase comes as close to criminal, in its absence, as I have ever seen.I purchased this pump on August 31st of this year and put it into service along with another SAME pump beside it. In October, it crapped out, the impeller spun off the shaft and of course it was no longer functioning and after contacting Amazon they are done with such things after 30 days but with the glaring imprint on Little Giant’s box that says Warrantied for Three (3) Years, I attempted to contact the manufacturer.I spoke to customer service who pushed me over to technical support who never answered the call, I repeated this process over and over and even sent emails to both departments and the result…crickets. Meanwhile, my bog is not functioning, putting my fish and pond’s health at risk.I went to another manufacturer out of frustration, and it proved to be a good move in both design and functionality. But LIttle Giant, forget it, you may as well throw your money away.I am thoroughly disgusted and would recommend that Amazon drop this supplier.

We only bought it to replace the exact same one thats been in our pond for WAY longer than the 8 yrs we’ve lived here. Any product that is IDENTICAL to when ‘it was last purchased a dozen or more years ago is identical for a reason (because it was clearly built to actually last!)

The pump performs as advertised. Amazon advert has a discrepancy. Only one 1-1/4″-1″ barbed tubing adaptor is supplied – NOT two. The other 1-1/4″ discharge port has a cap.Ideal pump for recirculating pond size between 1000 – 2000 gallons.
