Great for goats
Works well with NDGs. Used some screws to secure it to a 2×4 just tall enough to where they can’t poop in it. Coming from dog bowls/pans, this is much more efficient for feeding. Next to no waste.I was actually going to cancel/return this item after I ordered, but after I got it I’m glad I didn’t. I think that speaks to the quality of the product.

Great Food trough – With some modifications….
I bought this for my Dogs. I have 10 small dogs (Cavalier Spaniels) and I figured it would be easier to try a trough than to have food bowls all over the place. It worked! They love it and it makes it so much easier during feeding time! Also, by having the trough attached to their kennel, It makes cleaning the floor way easier! Mopping and vacuuming is nice now, no more picking up 10 food bowls. I can just mop and sweep right under it!The only problem I had was that is isn’t really designed to hang on a wire fence or kennel, it’s made to hang over a 2×4 fence, but I simply added a small section of 2×4 behind it and it hangs great! (Without it, it hangs at a weird angle).If you have a lot of dogs or cats (or I assume any kind of animals) then this is a must have!I will be buying another one!

Tractor supply sells it at less than half price!
Great product, though the price is double than the exact same item at tractor supply. I was pretty bummed to find this trough for less than half price, but I had already installed it otherwise I would have returned.

Great for large breed puppies as well!
This product is awesome! it works for large breed puppies as well. I used puppy liter bowls that work very well but only until they are 5 weeks old after that it just becomes a big mess. They tend to spill their food all over the floor. With the Lil Giant trough all the food stays where it suppose to. Puppies in the picture are 7 weeks old, only wish that the trough was a foot or so longer total number of liter is 10 puppies but it works so well I will be purchasing another one or maybe 2. I definitely recommend.

Too shallow in width
It fit our standard cow panel fence. However I was disappointed in how it was so shallow in depth, and to make this worse it rotates forward if just hooked on the fence wire making it more shallow. However I looked at the install instructions maybe this will improve with a 2×4 behind the fence to hold it up. Iâll try to update my review after I try this out.
