Does the job
I have a horse with Cushings disease. His hair is extremely long and thick. Most clippers struggle through his dense hair, these manage to do it, but I have to keep stopping to spray them with clipper cool. They do get hot, so you have to take breaks. Bought the Star clipper for the size and price. Easy to install blade and adjust.

My dogs hair was very thick and it cut with ease

Blades are milled wrong and won’t fit in clipper head
Bought these for a Christmas present for my daughter. Of course, we don’t shear in the middle of winter so it was just last weekend that we tried to use them. The small squares that drop into the clipper head are milled wrong and they don’t line up so we can’t use them. Since the 30 day return period is up, we are stuck with bad expensive blades. Guess the lesson here is to only buy blades when you plan to use them immediately.
