It is really nice for the price. It does not have an electrical plug, but rather a usb plug to be used with a usb-a wall charger block adapter. Dimmer is really nice and makes it easier on the eyes. The controller turns the light on and off. The colors are blending well. Update: I unplugged the usb from the electrical port today and it was burning hot, too hot to touch. I hope it will be okay.. Maybe a better wall adapter might help, I’ll check. 2nd Update: The adapter I was using was too low voltage. It was 6 watts per usb. I upgraded to Anchor 12 watt per usb (24 W total), and it doesn’t get hot anymore. Also the light itself doesn’t get super hot, especially if you dim the brightness a little.

Perfect for my needs
I just needed a cheap LED lighting option for my 10 gallon aquarium and this fit the bill perfectly. It has 3 “color” modes, two of which are very similar with just slight color temperature difference and the 3rd is a cool fluorescent effect. I also like that it has several brightness levels as its in my sons room and I can turn it very low at night and use as a nightlight. The light itself is water resistant and gets a lot of splashes. I also leave it on 24/7 and it doesn’t get too hot. The mounting bracket is pretty janky… Its not big enough to stretch the full width of the tank but you can use it sideways. I don’t even bother as I just set it on the cover. But the light itself is spread out enough to cover the entire 10 gal tank.

Great aquarium light
Great replacement for my fish tank light. I’ve gone through a few already and for the price I couldn’t ask for more. There are a few color settings and brightness levels and I didn’t use the stands as I have it flat against the cover that has a space for the original light. The length of the wire is good for my setup and I had to add my own USB adapter to go in the outlet. Otherwise it’s perfect.

I like this Little light I bought it for my 5 gallon and decided to jump up to a 10 gallon so now I want to get a bigger one but it actually lights up the aquarium nicely I just wanted to light up a little bit more

I have over 20 aquariums in my house. They go big to small and all have full spectrum lights. I bought these only because they were $4 on prime day. I’ve bought many before. And a lot of them I get for around $7. Those ones are actually a bit bigger, have more lights and are much brighter. Even still, I thought I’d give it a shot. Unlike every other light I’ve bought, these take a USB. Except they don’t come with a USB block. So now I have to pay extra to buy blocks. I bought 4 of these. What I usually do is use multiple lights on a bigger tank and plug the into an extension cord that has a push button off and on switch. Can’t do that either. Because unlike every other light I’ve had and I’ve had probably 100, these lights reset if they lose power. Meaning you can’t switch them off and on with the push button switch. So I bought a USB block from dollar tree. As I’m trying not to spend money on these cheap things. And the light really isn’t that bright. Might need a better or different block. But I don’t know. This is why it should come with one. I got to shop around to find the block that works? It’s cheaper to just buy a bigger better light.

Good for the price
Its ok but not really impressive. The light is enough for our 3 gallon standard depth tank but its likely not enough for the plants to do much growing. The cord is a little short and you have to dig around your house to find an old USB-A/3.0 adapter because nothing is included. More of a short term solution than a long term item but for the price it is a fair value for sure.
