Decent product and no bottle waste!
I used the products today to wash my hairs, it being the first time since purchasing. My set came with a wooden comb (cleverly with the brand name on it since the bars will eventually disappear) and two mesh bags that were labeled with “shampoo” and “conditioner” for storage. I have 2C curl type and salt-and-pepper hair. I used no additional styling product after washing, so I could test out the results. I did use the comb gently to work the conditioner through my locks for a few minutes. By air drying, my hairs did not frizz and my curls felt soft. The fragrance of the products are lovely while washing, but do not have a long-lasting presence through the day. Although the company says you could leave the bars in their mesh bag to generate suds, I did not find that an effective method on my hair. Instead I simply wet the bars and lathered the shampoo in the palm of my hand, and applied conditioner bar directly to my thoroughly wet hair. I have long hair grown out past my shoulders, so I will be interested to see how many washes I actually get from the bars; I only wash my hair once a week. This is not the first bar shampoo/conditioner brand that I have tried. If you have wondered if you would like bar shampoo, you will regret it if you do not also get conditioner due to the drying effect, especially as your scalp and hair gets cleansed very effectively from oils and other undesirable buildup. The mesh bags appear to be nylon so there is SOME form of plastic involved, whether recycled or not. Nevertheless, this is a terrific option for eliminating bottle waste. I am pleased so far.–Update: 7/27/25I have thick locks and need to make two passes on thoroughly wet hair with the shampoo bar to reach my scalp for cleansing. Also, with the conditioner, I need a comb to get the product distributed evenly along the entire strand lengths from top to bottom. Using hands alone is not sufficient on my hair. I suspect I will run out of shampoo before the conditioner. These bars are probably better for thin hair.

great scent and with wet hands or hair sudses up well and love how clean and soft my hair is. blondes, silver and white hair color needs purple bars. this is my second time as I needed some to. take on a trip(no bottles, and they come with carrier bags yay!)

This is the second brand Iâve tried. When I opened the box one of them was cracked in half washing hair. It doesnât phone quickly, but does eventually I donât have anything really bad to say about it. It cleans your hair. Itâs just not as smooth as all the soap bars.

Iâve been using this product for over a year and my hair is full and shiny. No scalp irritation. No harmful chemicals. No wasteful plastic bottles.The shampoo doesnât foam up like mainstream products and that takes a little adjusting to, but my hair gets clean without damage.
