I purchased this cage specifically for my bearded dragon.All the little parts in pieces for ramps and the hide are not being used. I took those parts and bagged them up. For the different levels, I will use rocks and different branches instead of what they provided. Also not using the bottom shelf under the cage. No need for it at all for how Iâm using the cage.This will be for when I am not outside supervising him, so he can enjoy the sun protected in the cage from birds, cats, or the random whatever crosses through the backyard when I am not there.He has a net cage I use when I am outside with him but I donât trust that to his protection at all, something could easily rip in or even kill him through the net. This cage is perfect for a temporary hangout when catching some âï¸ as itâs sturdy and a great predator deterrent.Also I would not trust him in this cage overnight due to the âlocksâ not being tamper proof. Anything hungry enough will figure out how to open this cage.The cover I purchased is perfect for when I leave the cage outside in the summer and I donât want the sporadic rain to flood it out. I would not put a rabbit, or even a Guinea pig sized animal in this cage for life. Very small animals only. I could not see a hamster using this permanently either. Package came in mail super early!Really easy to put together and came with step by step instructions. The quality is amazing and the size is perfect for my bunny. Iâm very pleased and happy with my purchase itâs amazing. On the side note a big plus is the anti chewing for the wood so your animals wonât chew it. I love it!

Good habitat for a large hamster.
Has two levels and a shelf underneath for storing supplies. Our hamster likes to climb, so this gives her room to run around. The only problem we are having is that she has started to gnaw at the plastic slide out bin. I put chew toys on that side of the cage as a distraction. Even with that chewed away, she canât escape. Toys and chew sticks or natural fiber mats can be attached to the sides of the cage. Fits a wheel and houses, etc. itâs big, so measure for space. Easy to follow directions for assembly. Took me about 40 mins to assemble, but it wasnât frustrating.

NOT for Guinea pigs
Itâs built solid, and easy assembly and looks nice. However, we bought it for 2 guinea pigs and they donât even fit in the house. Also, the sides are made of wood. Now, and less than a month later, I have to purchase a new cage because they chewed through the wood. This might be okay for a really small animal, but it should NOT be recommended for any Guinea pigs at all.

Works great for me!!
This prodocut works great for my hamster who loves to get into trouble. I’ve had this cage for a couple months and she hasn’t escaped a single time. She’s also very destructive and hasn’t made a single dent, scratch, or bite mark on anything. She seems happy in it. She enjoys hiding under the little ledge that’s lower to the ground.Only problem I have had isn’t even related to the product. My dog likes to snoop and he doesn’t like small animals much so I had to put some cardboard in the little side openings.I guess to sum it up, if you’re thinking of buying this do it! Its super easy to put together, withstands a destructive mischievous hamster, and is easy to clean. I love it!!Edit: I have had this for a long time and it’s still perfect. My hamster has chewed on the plastic a bit but not too much damage. I 100% recommend.

Not guinea pig friendly
The wood is chewable in places by guinea pigs. And the tray does over flow into the cracks. Not non chewable as they stated in the description.
