I was unaware that cats had in undercoat. I knew my cats shred alot but just using this brush minimized alot of shedding hairs!!! She actually let my brush her the results were amazing. Now to do my other shedding cat. Thanks, it’s a great buy

Pulled out enough fur to build another cat!
Got a cat with medium-length hair with a super thick undercoat who just sheds like crazy in hot humid weather. This comb just pulls out gobs of that undercoat fur, and it’s nice and wide for use on back and sides (and tummy if you’re feeling lucky!) The teeth are kind of sharp, so you want to be careful you don’t hit skin but it’s perfect for cats with thick undercoats, good for pulling out those small mats that collect in hard to groom areas. Very sturdy and well-made. Only drawback is it collects so much fur I have to stop and clean it out after every pass.
