Highly recommended bird feeder
Works great!! Bottom line keeps squirrels out and birds in good pecking order and goes through less suet because it’s not so easy to get at. I eliminated sunflower seeds on my other feeder because it attackers squirrels and rats this keeps everything contained.

Great suet feeder but needs chain and a-biners
Update: squirrels have found a way to knock the feeder off of the tree. It falls to the ground and the lid comes open. All suet was missing in one day. To solve this, I went to the hardware store and got 2 hooks that clasp closed. I attached these hooks to the loops that go through the roof of the feeder. I also got 14â of chain. Get a semi-Strong one to support the squirrels weight. The hanger with hooks that came with it came off too easily when a squirrel jumped on the roof. Problem solved.########## Metal. Well made. Suet baskets fixed inside. No prongs to loosen and no prongs to be less effective and loose. Squirrels are frustrated but theyâll probably find a way. Theyâre clever. Nice that it has a tray beneath to catch uneaten seeds. Pricey at $29 but seems worth it. Will update review as it ages.

Almost what I wanted
Purchased this suet feeder as a primary deterrent against starlings and grackles who always seem to flock when I have my suet feeders present. I totally agree that it is mature squirrels proof, not the squirrel babies or chipmunks who can get free access to it, but I wanted something that would prevent the bigger birds to have access to the suet. And this feeder is not the case, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, it is well constructed, solid and allows the smaller birds to get closer to the food. If the bigger birds are not a concern, then I definitely would recommend this feeder due to the affordable price, easy to use and clean, light weight and appearance.

Definitely, a squirrel-proof suet bird feeder
This suet squirrel-free bird feeder definitely works as advertised. Only small birds like finches fit through the cage to eat the suet. Excellent quality!

Holders for suet cakes are in the middle, and most birds cannot get to them. Only really small birds can reach.

Great quality and built to last!
This is a great feeder to keep larger birds from coming in and ravaging all the food from the sparrows, wrens….etc. Before this, doves, grackles, crows woodpeckers would come and within minutes all the food would be spilled to the ground and usually wasted. Now with this feeder only my smaller resident birds (birds that live in my backyard) are eating from them as the larger birds have given up and don’t come by anymore. Now I don’t have to refill feeders anymore as often! This one is made of metal and glass, it’s very well built and should last years and years!

Protects small birds from larger and from squirrel feeding.
So far so good. The little birds are hesitant to enter cage, still a couple have. A small woodpecker is Not afraid and sits inside pecking away. I put small seeds inside on tray to entice birds, think that has helped. Squirrels can’t figure out how in get suet. Not unhappy with it;-)

This Kingsyard suet feeder has been a solid pick for keeping the squirrels and raccoons out. The all-metal construction feels tough, and the locking top is a big winâno more surprise feeder thefts from clever critters. It comfortably holds two suet cakes and includes a handy catch tray underneath that helps reduce the mess on the ground.The wire spacing on the cage is just right to block squirrels, and itâs done a great job so far. That said, the grackles have figured out how to stretch their necks just enough to reach the edges of the suet. Itâs not a dealbreaker, but if the outer cage sat just a little farther from the suet holder, it would help solve that issue entirely.Overall, itâs a well-designed, weatherproof feeder that looks good, functions well, and does a solid job of protecting your suet from the usual backyard bandits. Definitely worth it if youâre tired of watching your suet disappear in minutes!

Very nice bird feeder. Good quality. Only just put it up so can’t comment on what the birdies make of it, yet I’m sure they’ll like it & use it. Hopefully this caged one will keep the bigger birds off. This suet feeder, the blocks are in their cages quite far away from outer cage. Hopefully starlings & pigeons can’t get their heads near suet blocks. Have left normal suet block feeder up for the bigger birds so still get food yet don’t eat me out of suet blocks, leaving nothing for the smaller ones. Can get very expensive otherwise when they eat a block a day!!!!! So all fingers & toes crossed, they all get food

This is a sturdy suet feeder but does not keep out squirrels from Nova Scotia! The holes are too big!
