Son uses them for mowing
Son got these for mowing, he says theyâre easy to work in, waterproof and theyâve held up strong this season! Really nice glove for the price, will update when he uses them in winter for shoveling!

Too many gloves bought, so much money lost
I don’t know how many times I’ve had to buy my son gloves and they just not hit the mark when it comes to sizing but these actually did the job. They have a great weight to them and I assume that this is actual deer skin considering the yellow color on the inside of the palm. He was able to help me with yard work just fine and for reference he was about nine when I bought them for him he’s 10 now and he’s using them just fine. They have great grip and durability on them and they are slightly waterproof but not 100% waterproof as leather typically never is. He never complained about anything poking him through the gloves so they work just fine.

Bought these for my two year old granddaughter who likes to help me work outside. Honestly, I was not expecting such good quality out of a set of gloves made for kids. I always watch her when we are outside but now if she does get away from me and grab the thorns on a plant, she will be protected.

well made but very soft outer
I have purchased these gloves many times in different sizes. I like them. They are very well made. Well insulated and padded and the knit cuff is a great feature. The adjustment piece is just plastic so may not hold up. My only worry is that the deer skin is very soft leather and I’m afraid they are not going to stand up to the work. I got them for my grandson who helps with splitting kindling and bringing wood in for the wood stove. He had a pair that were smooth leather not sueded leather. That pair lasted one season. He is still growing so its ok if they last just one season. I will update my review after this winter to say if this pair of gloves lasted the entire season.

Necessary equipment for the young entrepreneur
I bought three pairs of these last summer. My then five-year-old son asked for the single investment of work gloves in order for him to start his weed pulling business. The mediums fit him perfectly at the time and are still fitting 7 months later. I also bought a small at the same time for my three-year-old daughter who fits them well. We liked the gloves so much that I ordered a third pair for our two-year-old (size small). These feel like high quality for a kids glove. Although all of the kids have been able to grow into them, theyâre inexpensive enough that I wonât mind buying g the next sizes should I need to. These provide actual protection from thorns and other sharp things in the garden. I think my son made $25 last summer after getting these gloves in late July, then it was time for apple and pear harvesting season and they got some more use.

Looks great!
The color is not as on the pictures shown. It’s black- with a gray design. The palm side, the yellow is more like mustard color. The leather is very soft.We actually like better the gloves that way.
