Good way to help backyard birds
This is basic seed mix and least expensive that i have found. Delivery is helpful for less abled people, and bulk birdseed hard to find except in feed stores in my urban area. Birds, bunnies and squirrels all enjoy it.

This is good birdseed, but it has 2x sunflower seeds. Seems like the birds that come to my bird feeder don’t particularly like sunflower seeds, so it’s not the best birdseed for my feeder. On the plus side (if you consider it a plus, which I don’t), the squirrels love the sunflower seeds. Fortunately, I have a squirrel proof feeder and the only seeds the squirrels get are those the birds throw out.

The birds seem to like it so we got what we wanted. And yes, squirrels seem to enjoy the seeds too unfortunately. Unfortunately we realized too late how pricey it is so not great value for our money. My wife found similar seed in bulk and bought an equivalent or greater quantity for a small fraction of what we paid for Kaytee seeds. Not likely to buy anymore Kaytee at Amazon.

WellI put this bird see out at 4 different bird feeder stations along hiking trails. Three on the stations chipmunks and squirrels ate it all up and the fourth station, a bear totally demolished the station. But zero birds were observed at any site.

The birds are loving this seed and I think that the whole bird community has figured it out. Iâve pretty much gone through a whole bag in 2 days and now the birds are giving me the stink eye. Iâm afraid that if I donât get more of this stuff, that they will collectively revolt upon my head. I have had a blast watching the birds go crazy over this seed.
