This chinchilla food works well for our chinchilla’s. They are our pets and they have everything that they need to eat in this complete food. We of course give treats but that is added for fun and for the pets to enjoy. This food smells fresh from the time you open the bag. The size is the amount that I expected to get. Not a tiny bag. It lasts a long time, as the chinchilla’s don’t eat very much at a time. It seemed to taste good, as they enjoyed eating it. They stayed very healthy while eating it.

Good if your pets not picky
He didnt like this brand as much as his last , hut in all it was a good product, but I dont recommend if you chinchilla is picky on bland foods. Good with a mix tho

My chinchilla can be a little picky. He eats the treats first, of course, then he eats the grain bits. He has been a Kay-Tee consumer for a while now, as I do not like to change brands very often. He has always liked the other Kaytee products & this food is no different. He has finished three bags thus far & he is still alive & looks healthy. I supplement with fresh fruit and hay because he loves variety. Gigio is about 14 years old! Bless his mess!

Chin thinks this food is swell
My chinchilla is not a huge pellet fan. I figured he wouldn’t care much for this, either. But he seems to love it! At first, he really enjoyed the blue and terra cotta pieces, but didn’t eat much of the green ones. Now he loves all the pieces, even the plain pellets. What is this, some kind of crack? In any case, I have another bag in my cart.

Chinchillas love this, for years now
This is probably the 10th bag I’ve bought for my chinchillas. It’s the only kind where every pellet gets eaten. There are a few little colorful treats in it which they pick out first, but then they dive into the food and eat it all. They are very healthy chinchillas living solely on this food, a couple of raisins now and then, a little timothy hay, and apple sticks.
