Simple and nice
The hardest part was getting it installed alone, trying to hold it while reaching around to screw it in was impossible for me and my cage but I compromised and have it in an even better place. It sits well and is sturdy. My adult rat boys can all sit on it and it doesnât move around. The soft pad gets dirty easily and I removed it, the metal is great because the flat base doesnât have huge holes. Theyâre very small and donât seem to be a hazard at all for claws or paws getting stuck in them. Really satisfied with it and recommend.

Rats love it
Easy to clean, sturdy, holds three medium-sized snuggling ratties. Wish it came with more than one bed insert since they like to destroy them. Overall this was worth the $17.

Itâs really nice looking and it came with the bed which I wasnât expecting! Itâs really cute and Iâm sure my rats will love it. Only thing is that when I tried to lock it in place on the cage it wouldnât tighten all the way. I donât know If Iâm just dumb and donât know how to assemble things. but It still hangs on pretty good and I tried applying pressure to see if it would fall (it didnt) but Iâm just going to keep an eye on it.

Middle-of-the-road rat cage addition
While this product is fully functional as advertised and structurally sound, it was mildly frustrating and has some glaring flaws that could easily be fixed or would simply not appear in other products. It comes with washers and a screw to hang the basket, but the structure of the basket necessitates a lot of space between the washers, making it awkward to hand up and adjust. Some simple hooks would have been a lot more ergonomic without sacrificing much. Also, the included cushion was stitched awkwardly and does not fit the full space of the ledge.Overall, the product is as advertised and fulfills its purpose in a cage, but for $16 you’d be able to find much better products that wouldn’t be as mildly annoying.
