Customers say
Customers find these crickets excellent for bearded dragons and appreciate that they always arrive alive. The crickets are healthy and customers are satisfied with the company’s service. The size receives mixed feedback, with several customers noting they are smaller than expected. While some customers consider them an excellent value, others find them pretty pricey. The emergence of disease is also mixed, with several customers reporting that almost all crickets arrived dead.

Second time
This is the second time Iâve ordered crickets from Joshâs frogs. They are all alive and healthy. This is a great company. I will keep ordering my crickets from them. Thanks

All Dead
The crickets arrived all but 4 of them were dead! My jumping spider won’t eat dead crickets!

Tiny pinheads, all alive and healthy on arival!
Buying from Josh’s Frogs is always way better than buying from my local pet shop. I tried to purchase pinhead banded crickets from the local pet shop multiple times and their “pinheads” are never as small as the ones I purchase from Josh’s Frogs. The size difference is so great that when I received my first batch of pinheads I was surprised at how tiny they actually were. If you have something that needs REALLY small crickets to eat, these are perfect! I recently started keeping spiders of various kinds. My Tarantulas like the larger crickets of course, but, the pinheads are perfect for tiny garden variety webbers and jumping spiders. Plus the crickets I get from Josh’s Frogs are always healthy and they actually survive and grow as long as I take care of them properly. This means once they get “too big” for my smallest spiders they become “big enough” for my bigger spiders. Which also helps me not need to order as often. I can’t speak personally on the flavor but I give it five stars too because the spiders seem to love them. I’m sure small amphibians and lizards would love them too! I didn’t individually count each one, but they say they send you a few extra crickets to make up for any who die during the shipping process. I’ve bought many shipments of crickets of various sizes from Josh’s Frogs in the past few months and I’ve never had a single cricket dead on arrival. They all come out of the container alive and healthy, albeit a little bit thirsty. So be sure to give them something to drink once you unbox them. I highly recommend if you NEED pinheads that are actually pinhead size. If you need small crickets and you can’t get them small enough locally you should definitely give these a try because they’re in the exact stage I wanted them to be and they always arrive healthy and on time.

Good price and timely shipment
Reasonably priced and arrived in a timely manner. However, about a quarter were dead when they arrived. Admittedly, I should have taken a picture, so take it as you will.

Fast delivery
This was exactly as advertised, and it came quickly.

Most were dead
I’ve ordered from Josh’s Frogs before and will again, and have been completely satisfied. But not so with the pinhead crickets. They were mostly dead on arrival and the rest that I didn’t feed my jumping spiders, maybe 30 or so, died in a couple days although I provided a water and feed source for them. I can’t entirely fault Josh’s Frogs of course. The handling in shipping could have been a big factor. IMO you can trust Josh’s Frogs but not some of the individuals handling your packages.

5 ðStar for sure
This is my 1st ordering Any live anything, I had wild Green tree frogs , wanted me to take care of it 100s (literally), so since the froglets are so little I order 500 “PINHEAD CRICKETS” they are smaller than knats, and they are TO SMALL for all these froglets. … I was worried about the week wait, I ordered on a Saturday and they were in the mailbox Wed. (There In MI , im in GA) EXTREMELY QUICK! I contacted Customer service at Josh’s frogs and they’re response was was within a couple hours (if that).. so to Josh’s CSðð»ðð»!!!! I ended up reordering From their website yesterday. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!! THX For A pleasant experience! {WISH rest of world companies were that AWESOME..JS}

Dead on Arrival
The packaging seemed okay. Until I opened the package and more than half of them were dead already.
