How did we get our start?
In 2004 by Joshua Willard made fruit fly cultures for his personal dart frogs. As a way to support his frog hobby and to better serve others in the amphibian hobby, Josh started selling the fruit fly cultures, as well as supplies for kits.

Could not give enough stars! Healthy, beautiful plants that arrived SO FAST and in perfect condition! They were clearly packaged and handled with so much care â itâs very cold in New England right now and they even put a small heating pack on the inside so the plants would stay warm on the shipping journey! It is very clear and apparent how much these guys care about the quality of their products and the fulfillment of their customers. 10/10 will be ordering from again.

Plants arrived alive – a little late – but alive and theyâre really cool looking plants.
Plants arrived alive, one better than the other. The instructions clearly tell you to wait an additional 2 weeks BEFORE planting so Iâm not too worried that the one thatâs not looking so good, makes a full recovery. Overall pretty cool looking variety of plants, by the way you only get (2) plants. The size is small âfairyâ style which is what I wanted. As far as moisture level goes, Iâll just tie that into shippingâ¦. The shipping is done with the red,white and blue trucks, and they donât care, donât provide accurate tracking updates and they take FOREVER. That being said, both plants moisture level was basically zero by the time I received them. The packaging was very good though. As for the value of these plants, honestly theyâre pretty dang pricey. Moving forward Iâll just do the research next time on live reptile plants and Iâll probably outsource them locally. All in all, the plants survived shipping and will more than likely do just fine and flourish in their new home. 4 stars is specifically due to shipping. If possible, my recommendation is to pay for expedited shipping. Hope this helps!

Beautiful & Healthy
These plants arrived quickly!! They were packaged very well. The box was damaged during shipping. But the plants were not harmed at all. They are beautiful plants also very healthy! They are perfect for my terrarium. I am starting another terrarium & I will definitely be making another purchase!!

Absolutely FLAWLESS!!!
Above and beyond happy. Bought the plants with the 10 qt substrate and the false bottom layer.Amazing quality on the substrate. You could see it before I even pulled it out of the box how good it was going to be!Plants are beautiful. One plant had a tiny brown on an inside of one leaf. Nothing a few days help won’t fix! They smell great! And we’re packaged very nicely. There was barely any soil that spilled inside their packages.This is for my 6 month old gecko who finally gets his big boy home.I have. 4 year old that I went with a live plant set up about two years ago through Petsmart and a local nursery.Between the false bottom, substrate and searching forever through a nursery for 4 different plants.I literally spent half the amount of money with you guys!! And I worked for Petsmart at the time so the includes the employee discount.I almost want another reptile so I can buy more from you!So glad I found you guys!And it’s not like I had to wait. It took technically just over a day for the layers. Plants were suppose to be about 10 days. They came two days early!Thanks again! Word will be speed for sure!

The plants look great, little small but hopefully they grow fast. Shipping was a lot faster than it said so that was a great bonus. Overall would recommend. When I building my next few bioactive terrariums I’ll definitely buy more from here.

Great product fast delivery
I ordered on a Thursday and received it on Saturday (I live in southern Indiana). Both plants came neatly individually wrapped and the box was the right size to prevent too much shifting.When ordering I just listed the size of my crested gecko bioactive vivarium and they picked plants to match. The pothos and dieffenbachia are thriving after two months of being in our ball pythonâs terrarium (or vivarium on account of the springtails and isopods.) The pothos has doubled in size and itâs perfect for Estherâs enclosure. The dieffenbachia is a great out-of-the-sun plant on the far corner up in front, real aesthetic. 10/10 would buy again.
