Yes Our Leaves Are Special — Aren’t these just dried leaves? Yes, yes they are and the ideal dried leaves for your frog and indoor plants. Handpicked, perfect-sized 1.5-2.5” (3.8-6cm), gold and russet, beneficial leaves create a loving habitat for your pet and they’re quite lovely. JOR leaves will nourish soil, feed your frog’s food, and make the perfect bed for breeding.
Year Round Leaf Benefits — Yes, you could put dried leaves from your yard in your vivarium but when you don’t have year-round, JOR leaf litter is an excellent choice to maintain your vivarium. Many people prefer JOR leaves because they’re hand selected and a good frog-size. Our leaves add a wild and interesting texture to your vivarium and home.
Frog Food Needs Food — Frogs are carnivorous and need a varied diet just like us. JOR leaves break down as they are crushed by your white tree frog. Broken down, they provide loads of beneficial elements and goodness for springtails, isopods, and other favorite frog food. Our leaves fill an important role in the web of life for your frog, plants, and vivarium.
Helps Maintain Humidity — Just like mulch, JOR leaves help soil retain moisture. This is vital for frogs and important for indoor plants. Tomato frogs, like all frogs, need humidity for their skin. Tree frogs need a habitat with 70-90% humidity. JOR leaves also help keep your vivarium’s soil or dirt from sticking to your pet. Dirt or soil stuck to your frog’s skin will speed drying which causes issues.
Love Happens In Our Leaves — JOR leaves are a Pacman frog’s favorite playground and favorite breeding ground. Our beautiful leaves decorate your vivarium and give your Amazon Milk Frog a place to hide from the frog paparazzi. They encourage your pet, and help them feel they’re out in the wild!

Lovely little leaves
I purchased these to use in my betta tanks and hospital tanks. Theyâre small, but there are so many in a pack, and you only need one or two leaves per 10 gallons of water. Definitely worth what I paid for. They should probably be boiled and left to cool before using them though. Maybe 5 minutes at a soft boil, just to knock off any hitchhikers. Theyâll turn the tank water yellow though, for those of you whoâve never used these. The tannins get my bettas in breeding mode and helped get rid of a fungal infection one of my otos had. Overall happy with the product and would purchase again

Good value for the price
Most of the leaves are a bit smaller than I expected, but that is more of an end user issue than a product issue. There are LOTS in the bags, and I appreciate that they are divided into two pouches so you donât have to just use all of them at once. Iâll definitely be buying them again when I need more for my bioactive enclosures.

Just as Advertised, My Tortoise Loves It.
The JOR 60 pack of leaf litter is precisely as advertised. The leaves are clean, consistent in size, and work perfectly for holding moisture in the bottom layer of my tortoiseâs enclosure. It helps maintain humidity while also giving the setup a more natural look. My Red-footed Tortoise is definitely happier with this beddingâhe explores more and seems more comfortable overall. Iâll absolutely be ordering this again when I need to refresh his habitat.

What you get and How to use
What you get is a plastic package full of dry leaves. They look like they fell off of a tree in your yard last fall. You are paying for the packaging; the leaves surely cost nothing. I am no expert but here is how I use these leaves. First of all, you should not use them all unless you have a huge aquarium. Take a few leave, crumple them up and put in a small saucepan with about 4 or 5 cups of water . Bring to a soft boil and simmer for about 15 minutes. During that time, two things will happen: the leaves will become saturated and sink to the bottom and the water will turn deep brown(ie: Black Water). After it cools, put the crumpled leaves in your aquarium-they will sink. Next, pour in as much or as little brown water as you desire for color. My Betta seems to love this environment. Save the leftover dry leaves and later in the year as those in the tank deteriorate you can do it all again. And that, my friends, is how you use this product correctly. thank you for reading this. Your Betta will thank you in his/her own way I’m sure.

WAY less than I was expecting..
I thought there would be MUCH more. The leaves look nice aside from some being crumpled, but they are VERY small leaves and the bags are so small. Have a hard time believing there is 120. ð¥²

Love the size of these leaves, they are perfect for Nanos.Mine Is 6.5 Gallons 24x 6.5x 9.5 sizeIf you boil the leaves with some water you can pour the tannins into the water easy and efficiently and still use the leaves in the tank afterwards…I used only half of what came in the package so far. I’ll buy again when needed.

I didn’t notice that it said mini. Not a plant expert so not sure if its genuine but the product i got looks exactly as the pictures. I put 10 pcs w/o boiling in one tank and it still sank no problem. Made my tank brown for a few days but after some filter change and water change, water cleared up ok. Boiled 10 and used the water for my betta tank. Water still brown but fish looks nice and healthy.Product looks and does as advertised. Only complaint was size but that was my mistake for not reading the product name properly.

To be honest, there’s really nothing to say about these. They are leaves. They float until they don’t. None of my pets eat them so they sit at the bottom until I take them out. I assume they are doing what they are supposed to, but I have no way of knowing.

My Red Cherry Shrimps stay at the leaves all the time and its great for hiding for the small shimp and other fish. betta fish also likes to hide under it and the betta also makes a bubble nest around itThis is safe to use and the best thing is that there are a LOT of leaves in the pack, I barely used 5 to 7 of them
