Big relief for the horses- no more stomping!!
Finally I bought these fly boots, because it was such a good deal . With the 2 horses I own, I have a spare set. They go on easily, have a pull tab on top, stick well! You have to keep them out of shavings/ debris like any other product with velcro. The only thing I’m not super pleased with is : the aluminum rods that hold up the boots poke thru the mesh and could injure the horse’s leg/ foot….you have to keep an eye on them and perhaps keep them from coming out w tape….otherwise I am thrilled to have these for a reasonable price!

I was so hopeful…
These were a great price and was so hopeful these were going to be a great alternative to the pricy name brands. And…my horses are jerks and not worth the constant investment of $50 boots. For a short term these boots work great, however the internal stays/supports collapse quickly and collapse all the way like a loose pair of socks. The velcro, however, its darn near impossible to take off. Which is a GREAT thing, until you are trying to get the fallen down boots off. They do hold up to even the most ungreatful horse…just sags almost immediately. If you are handy, these are durable enough to sew in new stays and would definitely be worth it then.

Wires came out. Low quality boots.
These lasted about a month before the wire started to come out. Exposed wires were pokey and I had to throw all of the boots out. I used these on my two senior geldings and both sets quickly broke down. Buy something better to keep your horses safe.
