Shine and Softness for Sensitive Fur Kids (not only horses)
I actually obtained this for my husband to use to help with hair growth and sensitivity. He has yet to use it, but I did use it on our dog who has super sensitive skin. This shampoo worked very well on her. It sudded her up and definitely got the dirt off. I also found it easier to brush her out and get rid of some tangles after she was done. The warning will giveâ¦.. this is a concentrate so donât use it without watering it down. I donât know how I missed that but I did. The good news is that it will last you a LONG time.

Love this shampoo!
Great shampoo! It is very effective. My mare’s coat was clean, soft, and shiny with minimal fuss to get the soap our of her coat and main/tail. Though it is very sudsy, I can’t say it made her white socks as white as one of the blueing shampoos (she’s a dark bay with white socks). She did not have any skin issues at the time so I can’t speak to its healing properties, but I would definitely get this again. Because I live in the Rocky Mountains, there is always minimal leakage of most products when they arrive, but this did not leak, so the packaging is effective.I have numerous shampoos and this is now my favorite!

I’m not a horse, of course, of course
I feel very, very odd writing this review, but here goes. The day this horse shampoo arrived, I mindlessly put it on my bathroom counter to deal with later. A bit later, out of curiosity, I washed my hands with it. Fast forward an hour or two, I’m at my computer and happen to look at my hands that look very, very well moisturized, with no greasiness, and have a healthy sheen that I thought I’d left behind in my youth. I couldn’t for the life of me recall which lotion I had used to get them that way. Then I remembered, it was the horse shampoo! You see where this is going, right? So, yes folks, I decided to shower with the stuff and I gotta say, this is THE BEST bodywash and shampoo I have ever used. My hair and skin from head to toe – including my feet that always look dry and parched – look moisturized and feel incredibly smooth. I used no conditioner on my hair and it was smooth and tangle free. Umm… so, this is staying in my shower.None of the ingredients seem horse-specific or human-unsafe. What’s the worse that could happen? I’ll whinny with joy at not having to use lotion all over my body? So, yeah, this is easy to use, works really well for people (I’m so glad Vine doesn’t require pictures of the reviewer) and will be my well-kept shower secret from now on. Given that a little goes a long way and I can get some other formulations for #35/gallon, this is probably the best value bodywash on the market.I’m going to trot off to shower now. Don’t laugh!

Works great, smells great!
I have some super soft dusty clay soil that my horses (especially the mostly-white paint mare ð) LOVE to roll in; this shampoo does an amazing job of cleaning them all quickly and effectively! I swear the blue color actually turns their white socks a bit brighter too. The scent is your average pleasant clean soapy smell, not offensive at all. It makes my girls smell fresh for the 10 minutes that they stay clean before rolling away all my hard work.
