A definite improvement on the old design
I have no idea when these finger brushes with nubs all the way around came out, but they are a game changer.Our furry boy has a condition that makes him especially susceptible to plaque buildup that can lead to bone decay in his jaw. He had to have 11 teeth removed at his last cleaning, so we are diligent in making sure he gets his teeth brushed every day.Before this I was using the finger brushes with the small area of bristles- about the size of a normal (human) toothbrush. To say it was awkward to twist my finger around to brush all around his teeth would be an understatement. But with this, I can brush his teeth from any angle and it really makes brushing so much easier.I have big hands so at first it was a bit of a tight fit, but after a few weeks it has stretched out enough that it fits fine.I highly recommend these if you prefer the “finger condom” method of brushing your dog’s teeth.

Very decent
I’ve been using the regular size of these essentially every day of his life since he was a couple of months old – he’s two – and our dog’s (whose name happens to be “Jasper”) teeth are pretty clean. Hard to know if the brushes have made any real difference from how they would have been without. I use two brushes at a time to get both inner and outer surfaces clean and that seems efficient. The larger size is definitely worth it even for fingers that are really not all that fat. Satisfied but wish #1 he liked them rather than just tolerated them, and 2) they did what a real dental hygiene session would do. He chews a lot so I suspect that helps with keeping clean. Five stars because it seems a decent enough product and my reservations probably aren’t due to any product inadequacy.

Great brush
I am very serious about my dogsâ dental health. I use this finger brush for my lab, who was just too much of a chewer for regular toothbrushes – Iâd had to change his toothbrush every month, and I didnât feel like I could effectively get every angle of his teeth. I think the regular toothbrush background helped him get used to having stuff on his mouth, so switching to the finger brush was super easy. Itâs much more durable than a regular toothbrush, and I can really get every angle of his teeth in less than 5 minutes using my thumb. I wish the bristles were slightly longer but I think it gets the job done since every side is covered in bristles. Great value since there are four of them. I use this with Vets Best toothpaste

These finger brushes make brushing your dogâs teeth so easy!
I was skeptical, but bought these finger brushes anyway. I have two dogs and I brush their teeth everyday. Until now, Iâve used a super soft toothbrush that I use on my own teeth. It worked fine and my dogs line up in the kitchen to get their teeth brushed, so I thought we were cool. Then I got a finger brush in a goody bag from my dogâs dentist (she broke a tooth dock diving and had to have it extracted) which didnât fit my finger and was not very flexible. But I tried it on my dogs and my BC/JRT mix was noticeably happier when I used it. Hmmmmmâ¦. So I went to Amazon to find a finger brush that was more flexible and would fit my finger without slipping while I used it. These things fit the bill, so I ordered a set of four. Iâm so glad I did! They fit my smal finger and donât move around as I use them. I do wet my finger before putting the brush on which helps create some suction. My BC/JRT has really tight flews (lips? jowls?) and he used to be a bit uncomfortable when I brushed his back teeth with the conventional brush, especially on his right side. When using the finger brushes, he has no problem with me brushing all those back teeth. I can also feel each tooth as I brush them, so I know Iâm getting each tooth brushed. I can also apply more pressure to those back teeth that seem to collect more tartar. All in all, these finger brushes are the ð£ I also brushed a visiting dogâs teeth without any issues using these finger brushes. This same dog wouldnât let me near him with a regular toothbrush. If you donât already brush your dogâs teeth, try it using these finger brushes.

Too small
This item works fine for a dogs teeth IF you can get a finger in it. I am a small person and have to now brush my dogs teeth with my pinky finger, no way an index finger fits unless you want to stretch it and peel it off after!

Preferred for my puppy over toothbrush
I got this for my small chihuahua mix puppy, I was worried he might learn to bite hands with it but so far he only likes to play bite with me in specific allowable scenarios. For brushing his teeth it worked way better than trying to jam a doggy tooth brush in there, even the small ones he wouldn’t let me get it and he wasn’t as interested in biting it unless i left it on the ground for him to sniff around which I did try to get him used to it but he was more perceptive to the finger brush and would actually let me brush away at him in small spurts.I still use it to this day with him to brush him and then I give him a dental treat. Great value for the cost I have more than enough left and they’ve lasted a while so far. They fit my finger well and it doesn’t hurt if he accidentally bites me which he never really does. It’s nice and soft for him too so I don’t risk hurting him and I can feel the pressure/where my finger is opposed to with the brush you might accidentally put it too far or it’ll feel uncertain of where youre brushing.He likes the way the bristles feel or i don’t know if he just lets me do it. His teeth have been clean and have avoided any discoloration. He doesn’t mind the toothpaste either, he initially will try to lick it first but I wiggle my hand a bit and get him to open up.

Yes I love that it has a little bristles all the way around so that way you can brush his teeth and gums without cutting it from the hard part that it usually comes with very good and would recommend for other people. Just be careful for dogs that have small mouths. I have a Pomeranian one of them. It was a little too big but for the Pomeranian that is 13 lb. It fit perfect inside his mouth

Damnnnn these made cleaning my teeth soooo much easier! Everyone recommended toothbrush, but my little pom just eats it like a chew toy! These finger brush makes things SO MUCH EASIER! Also, since there are no hard plastic, I dont have to worry about hurting my little pom and my Italian greyhounds gum! he knows it’s my finger too so he doesn’t chomp down, and the grip on these finger brush are so tight that I can’t get it off unless I wash it off with water. Best.thing.ever. now let see how long these last.That and I’m. It came with this tiny case that has a nice generous space inside…I guess for traveling?

Been told by Vet that our older boy Bruce needs to have his teeth cleaned – of course we should do it long time ago…Then we bought a few diffrent tooth brushes, but none of them could be accepted by Bruce and our younger one Dimi.Finally find this one, we bought a package which includes 4 in diffrent colors. These tooth brushes are super soft, easy to fit into finger and don’t cause too much discomfortness…Little Dimi used to run away when he saw the tooth brush in our hand, now he will come and sit next to us and exceited to get started his ‘treat’ time…Bruce likes the licking time, but don’t mind that we push the tooth brush in and scrub his teeth up and down…Hopelly finger crossed….
