Great height
Needed something that would clear my large wood piece. And although Iâm not using the strings, I am putting the light on top of the two bars. Flimsy, but itâs functional.

Great Hanging Kit For Aquarium Lighting
This is a really well made kit for hanging aquarium lighting. It took some figuring to put it together since there were no instructions, but it was mostly a matter of picking what I could use to hang my light.

Had to modify my tank
It doesnât fit on a standard tank. You have to cut out notches on the tank to get it to work. Once my tank was retrofitted it worked great and I loved it.

Piece of junk, do not buy
I was disappointed in this. First off the upper wire holders are not cut to the same length and are several millimeters off and the fastener sticks out above the top. The wire is held in place by 3 bearings and under spring tension. My wire would not stay in place, and when I opened up the wire holder I found that I was missing 2 bearings. Lastly I am missing hardware, namely the nylon fastener to secure the mounting bracket to the tank, and the fastener that connects the light bracket to the wire. This is overall a poorly machined piece of Chinese junk. You would have a better light hanger if you used a bent coat hanger. Spend your money elsewhere.

I was excited about this item until. . . . .
This only works for rimless tanks and I donât have rimless tanks. Iâm going to try and make it work and if itâs just to much work then theyâre going back! Also no instructions with product, which would have been nice. I had to look at a similar product that had better pictures of how it was supposed to look like once assembled.

“Universal” I got it to work
Different part in box than what’s pictured. But works the same. Needs instructions because I took the adjustment piece apart and had to retrieve the tiny steel ball bearings..I figured the part that Statham to the light would have a threaded end but it accepts a supplied screw instead so I had to rig other connectors I had so I still got it to work
