INVENHO heating pad for pets contains two heating wires and heats up faster. The heating wire is covered with a temperature measuring wire so that the pet’s heating pet automatically switches off the power supply as long as the fuse heats up to over 54.5 °C at one point. It’s much safer than a regional sensor.

Olaf von Snowman is older, he’s about 12/13 and he is set in his ways, so it’s weird when he changes things.Olaf sleeps with his human every night, all night, but then suddenly in November he started sleeping in a cave bed he hasn’t frequented for some time. This cave bed is on top of our heating vent, so his human got it in her head that a. he was dying (this is due to trauma from when a prior cat died unexpectedly, he was indeed not dying) or b. he was cold (the more obvious answer).So the human went online late one night (or early one morning, who’s counting) and late night ordered several new beds for Olaf von Snowman that promised warmth.He immediately took to one of those self warming pads bc it reminds him of his favorite fabric, sherpa. But he was leery of this mat.So everyday his human turned on the mat and she did yoga next to it and let it run out its timer (12 hours). And then about a month in, Olaf von Snowman discovered it was the perfectly warm little square. And now he follows his human servant around screaming at her to move it near to her and turn it on.Olaf recommends that if you too are a human servant, you too should own one for your cat employer. But be forewarned, you may have to pretend like you don’t like it or see it and you definitely don’t want them to use it, and then when you least expect it, they will fall in love with it. Give it time.From the human:It is small, Olaf is 14 lbs, and I probably could’ve gone up to the bigger size. If a cat fits, they sits, so I wasn’t overly concerned with it, but it is something to be aware of it. It is also pretty thin, it’s just wired mat with a thin covering, so it’s not luxe. It is perfect for Olaf and I as he has like half a dozen beds to choose from, and it does not overheat. It does shut off after 12 hours, which is great, I love the timer. If I were to buy another one, I’d probably upgrade, but as a starter for my cat who is very cautious about new things – it was perfect!

My partner and I got this as a Christmas present for our two cats. We nailed it. They absolutely LOVE this heating pad (to the point of getting into physical altercations over it … we probably need to invest in a second one).For the price, I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. This little heating pad stays on for up to 12 hours and the temp can go up to 130 degrees (which really isn’t that hot to the touch).The second we put it on, one of our cats is on it.We’ve used it every single day since purchase and it’s worked flawlessly and kept them happy and warm.It is not the thickest mat, but they seem quite comfortable (fall right asleep) and more than content.I don’t hear any noise when it is on.Appearance wise, it is plain. Just gray and kind of fuzzy looking, not an eyesore but nothing special.

Default settings too hot – Careful
Great feel, evenly warm throughout the pad.Our vet recommended never having a bed warmer hotter than a cats natural body temp, they can over heat easily. This bed default setting is 120, so something to remember when you turn it on.Otherwise, very happy.

Wow! A perfect outdoor pet shelter for extreme weather
We made an insulated shelter from a cardboard box and styrofoam and placed this 16 inch by 18 inch heating pad inside. The results were excellent.Our box measured 17 inches by 20 inches by 9 inches tall, so the heating pad fit nicely inside. We duct taped 1â styrofoam sheets to the outside walls, roof and bottom. This insulation probably brought the box to an R value of 5 or lessâ¦not a lot, but sufficient to guard against wind and retain some heating pad heat. We placed the heating pad on the inside floor of the box and added a polypropylene blanket and wool pad to the heating pad to make it cozy (see photo).We placed a temperature sensor inside the box, NOT in contact with the heating blanket and got these results in the unoccupied shelter:outside temp (OT)/inside temp (IT)/control setting (CS)OT36 IT48 CS1; OT32 IT46 CS3; OT29 IT48 CS5; OT27 IT52 CS6.The shelter was placed in a dry location, away from the wind. Humidity was high, around 70-90%.When it got close to freezing, we increased the control setting to 5 and 6.We were amazed by how much above ambient temperature the small sized heating pad raised the interior temperature. The small 16âx18â pad only uses 55 watts on the highest setting (6). Running it all night for two consecutive nights of freezing weather used less than one kWh (0.589 kWh), so quite affordable to keep our outdoor cat safe in extreme weather.The control timer has 4 settings – 4hr, 8hr, 12hr and 24hr, and automatically turns off after that time. We needed to restart the 24 hour setting each day. We plan to keep this shelter in a dry location since further improvements will be needed to waterproof it. The heating pad is a great product we are recommending to protect outdoor pets from extreme weather (and from others descriptions, this is a great sleeping pad for indoor pets).
