The material thickness receives mixed feedback – while some find the material feels thick, others describe it as very thin. Customers disagree on the ease of use and value for money, with some finding them easy to put on and worth the price, while others disagree. Durability is a significant concern, with multiple customers reporting that the boots rip to shreds within days of use.

New ones on the left old ones on the right
Got these in September it’s now December and I had to get new ones. Could just be my horse but you will have to replace them. I had to replace mine because they ripped after time but definitely worth it I used them to cover my horses stall sores and they are almost gone.

Terrible Quality. Not Thick At All.
I wish I was able to get a photo when I purchased these, but unfortunately I didnât. They were terrible quality. They were way too thin for horses and my mare ripped them within hours. These are not worth the buy, even though the price is tempting.

Stay on but not durable
The bell boots are not very durable, the bottoms rip with consistent use, the material is much thinner than anticipated. Were able to be put on/removed easily.

Not the worst
Iâve bought several pairs of these. Yes they will rip but hasnât rubbed sores on my horses heel . He wears these 24/7 and is turned out at night, every night. I expect a little wear for $15 bell boots worn 24/7. I only usually have to replace 1 (not the pair) every so often. Worth it.

Flimsy
Protection is great – the large covered heel and shoe perfectly on my 16’1 Appendix gelding (size 3 shoe). BUT, I have tried three pairs of these now – all have ripped within a week.Even though it’s hard to get on the really thick boots, I’m going back to those as they are the only type I’ve found to hold up to the stress of playtime in the pasture.

but stayed on for a remarkably long time and better than expected
These are lighter than another brand I tried, but stayed on for a remarkably long time and better than expected. A bit easier to pull over the hoof than the heavier ones.

Ripped in less then 4 days.
Bought these less than a week ago and one already ripped in half and the other is on its way out the door. Now I know these things donât last long as it is as we go through many pairs a year but I thought Iâd get a little more use out of them then about 4 days. I guess you get what you pay for, in my opinion I paid too much for these for what I got out of them. Rubber was way to soft and not durable at all.. they were easy to get on since they were so stretchy but just not good for pasture or riding wear. Would give 0/5 if possible

Not durable
These are very stretchy and easy to put on but lasted only 2-3 weeks as the edge got torn up and they became useless for keeping her shoes on. The color was really nice though and they might be good for riding but not for turnout
Julie –
Perfect fit. My horse has pretty large flat hooves and ordered large! They are a thick rubber. They seem like they will last a while
LVee –
They don’t go long enough to keep my warm blood from tossing shoes. Also not thick enough for the price

Very good boot
