Keeps my cat entertained, but watch the frills
I recently picked up the Taruphic brand interactive toy for my indoor cat, and overall, itâs been a hit in my household. My cat was immediately engaged with it, batting at it nonstop and clearly enjoying the realistic prey-like movement. In fact, he enjoyed it so much that he chewed the toy to bits after about a week of intense play. To me, thatâs not a negative at all, because it shows just how enticing and fun it was for him. Luckily, the product comes with a spare toy attachment, so once the first one wore out, I was able to swap it out and keep the fun going without having to buy a replacement right away. The detachable design makes it easy to hang up and take down, which I appreciate, especially since my cat tends to be selective about where he wants to play. The only real issue Iâve noticed is the plastic frills on the end of the toy. They seem like an unnecessary add-on and can easily be chewed off and swallowed, which made me a bit wary. I ended up trimming them off with scissors for safety. It wasnât a dealbreaker, but I do think the design could be a little safer without that part included. All in all, this toy is a fun and interactive way to keep cats stimulated indoors. With the spare toy included and the overall solid design, Iâd say itâs definitely worth the purchase.

SAFETY HAZARDâ PLEASE BEWARE!!!!
THIS IS A ZERO-STAR REVIEW, REPORTING THIS PRODUCT AS A SAFETY HAZARD. I HAD THIS UP FOR ONE DAY AND MY CAT, WHO WAS PLAYING WITH IT CONSTANTLY, MANAGED TO GET THE CORD WRAPPED AROUND HER NECK AND WAS FRANTIC AND PANICKING!!! I was able to get the cord unwrapped from her neck quickly, perhaps due to the elasticity of the cord, but I literally shudder to think of what COULD have happened, if I wasnât right near her at that monent. PLEASE BEWARE of this hazard and proceed any use with extreme caution!!!UPDATE: I also contacted the seller directly about this, and they responded quickly that they will be doing further testing and that they will be adding a warning to the toy description and to the instructions, that this toy should only be used when supervised.Without CONSTANT supervision, this toy (which my cats LOVED) can be dangerous. I have returned it.

Kitten likes it, Cat tries to eat it
I got this for our 6 month old kitten who loves to chase things and play fetch. She loves playing with it but is a little nervous of it when I first turn it on due to the sound it makes when it moves. After a minute or so, she adjusts to the noise and plays with it just fine. It also has a weird high pitch sound when turned off, but that only lasts a few seconds.I love how it comes with an extra sticky pad, bracket and toy so it can either be used as a backup or setup to be moved and placed in a second location. I am unsure of the durability of the sticky pad because it fell of the wall a few hours after installing it (cat was not playing with it when it fell). It was placed on a painted wall above the door frame, so I have since moved it to the door frame itself to see how it works out there, if it falls again, ill just replace the sticky pad with something more durable.I do wish the ribbons on the bottom was any other material, maybe feathers or rope because our older cat loves to eat them and puke them up later, so I had to eventually remove those. Other than that and the sticky pads this is a great little toy for kittens and cats.

Title: My cats are now professional athletes ðï¸ââï¸ð¾
Bought this thinking it would keep my cats entertained for five minutes. Wrong. Theyâve been in full Olympic training mode ever since. Oneâs doing parkour off the walls, the otherâs trying to body-slam the toy like it owes him money. Iâve never seen them agree on anything until this thing showed up. Bonus: I get free entertainment and a front-row seat to the Cat Games 2025. Highly recommend if your cats need a new obsession (and you need a laugh). ðð±

Get 2!
I foster a lot of kittens, so I am always in need of toys and things to entertain them with! This toy, I gave to the youngest 2 temporary residents in our home. They are about 4 months old but on the small side due to being premature at birth and very slow to grow since then. They LOVE it! It comes packaged with 2 toys on strings (identical toys, so one is a replacement to the first, not a second toy option), 2 mounting “brackets” that glue to a wall or ceiling, a charging cable, and one motor. The battery life lasts for several hours, way longer than these3 two boys have energy for! They have already removed the iridescent “tails” off of the first toy, but that hasn’t stopped them from playing! This is a great “hunting” simulator toy, perfect for indoor cats! We have this hanging on a “string” as I do not have just one area for my cats and kittens, they are segregated by immune/vaccine requirements and the occasional illness, so that something like Upper Respiratory Infections or Ear Mites aren’t spread through all of the cats and kittens! When it’s charged in the evening, I simply hang it up and turn it on (simple on/off button) and let them play while I do things like wash bowls, refill waters, change/scoop litter boxes, etc…then, we feed them their wet food as the “reward” for “hunting”. This keeps the kittens entertained and getting the satisfaction of “catching” their meals! We try to work with their natural instincts and reward good behaviors, so they don’t turn to attacking our ankles at mealtimes instead!I highly recommend getting 2 so that one can be charging while the cat is playing with the other! It has really helped cut down on some misbehaviors that were starting to happen!
