Fast accurate simple to use. Your water might surprise you with all he TDS in your tsp water. My TO system reads 19 ppm. The tap is 285. Great value for price and can monitor your water softener and drinking water supply and respective treatment performances.

What a valuable little gadget! Easy to use and immediate easy to see results.We were absolutely amazed as we tested our tap water and reverse osmosis water. Caveat with water softener usage
I try to compare the result from this device with the test strips that are also from Varify. The readings are very inaccurate. Here are the results. With our water softener on, we got the test strip turned green (0-25 ppm), but the device gave 760 ppm, at this point we know something is definitely wrong with the device. I decided to try with the water softener off, the test strip turned red as expected since we know our water is on the harder side, surprisingly the device gave 663 pm. I donât know how to explain that. Let suppose the device is out of calibration, then this number should be even significantly higher than 760pm. So I may request a replacement to see how it go. I will post for the updateUpdate: I received a replacement and it gave similar reading. I decided to research some more since I don’t believe the issue coming from the device. The test strips ONLY react on the amount of Ca and Mg ions in the water. Since the softener removes those ions as expected, it also REPLACES the Ca and Mg with Na (sodium) ions from the salt of the softener. That explains why the test strips is green. However, the digital tester react on the TDS (total dissolved solid), that’s including Ca, Mg, Na, AND other. So the digital tester returned red BECAUSE of the high amount of NaI will keep the replacement since I think it works correctly

It was delivered before it was expected. I take this water tester everywhere I go because I want to make sure I can drink the water in the restaurant. I feel the tester is accurate and feel safe drinking some waters
