My favorite gel
This is by far the best hair gel Iâve tried for my 3B/3C curls. A little goes a long way, itâs got a great hold, and as a Celiac, I appreciate that itâs gluten free.Alone or with mousse, it creates a nice gel cast thatâs easy to scrunch out (with or without oil). Fantastic hold and if I sleep in a satin bonnet, the curls last for 2-3 days.I also use this gel for slick back buns (ballerina style) and general styling, it works well to tame flyaways even in intense humidity.

Love this for my curls
I have been looking for a more moisturizing gel. This gel really holds well and makes my hair so shiny! I also like a fruity smell. I use two pumps for half of my hair.

The best if used with proper technique
Thereâs a learning curve with Innersense products. I love this gel because I was taught how to use it by a curl stylist, and itâs the best Iâve ever used with the right technique. This product is concentrated and works best by applying to sopping wet hair. Then I continue to add water to my hair and lightly scrunch. I without knowing how to use it, I would not have liked it. With proper technique the results are amazing!

Good curly hair gel
I like this gel, especially in the summer. It holds well and is easy to scrunch out the crunch. Knocking a star off for price, because I do think it’s overpriced – but it works well. Scent is OK; not overpowering or anything. If you have curly hair, this is good stuff. My hair is finer and curly. Does not flake, either.

Great hold without the crunch
Iâm really impressed with the INNERSENSE I Create Hold Styling Gel. Iâve been looking for a clean, non-toxic product that actually holds my curls in place, and this one delivers. The hold is strong but never crunchy, and it defines my hair beautifully without leaving it stiff or sticky.What I love most is how clean and lightweight it feels no buildup, no flaking, and it rinses out easily. Itâs also cruelty-free, non-toxic, and full of nourishing ingredients, which makes me feel good about using it regularly. A little goes a long way, and it works well whether Iâm air-drying or diffusing. Definitely a staple in my curly hair routine!

Burning Scalp, Extreme Itching, No Response
What I liked about the products Iâve used from Innersense is the fragrances have been nice. I liked that I Create Hold actually kept my hair from looking frizzy for the most part. Thereâs no super crispy, feel, or greasy feel. Thereâs not a lot of shine, though. Iâve been using the hydrating hair bath, and conditioner, along with I Create Volume and I Create Hold. From the get-go Iâve had several problems though. I noticed right away that sometimes my scalp would itch. My hair strands would stick together after using the shampoo and conditioner, and the I Create Volume seemed to add to that. I definitely had to be careful to not run my fingers through my hair at all after it was dry. When I wake up in the morning, I have horrible tangles towards the ends of my hair, something I didnât have a problem with before, and I noticed that my hair started falling out quite a bit. When I ordered this new bottle of I Create Hold the product seemed much thicker than the original bottle I had purchased, and immediately my scalp started burning and itching whenever I used it. I contacted Carbon Beauty about the problem and no one ever got back to me. Iâm so disappointed because I had high hopes that Iâd finally found products that didnât make my hair look either greasy or crispy after styling. I cannot use the products in the shower, because where ever the residue touches the rest of my skin even though I rinse off thoroughly, Iâve developed a random rashes all over my body. I would say if you have sensitive skin, see if you can get samples or buy small bottles of the products before investing. My sister has hair thatâs much less curly than mine so she uses different products in the Innersense line and has no problems. She loves it and it makes her hair look beautiful. Unfortunately for me, between the tangles, the hair loss, and the burning itching scalp I am going to have to continue to look elsewhere for compatible hair care products.

This styling gel holds my hair well all day and keeps it looking nice. It does not feel heavy or sticky, and my hair feels soft. I like that it has natural ingredients and a light scent. I will buy this again and recommend it to others

Iâve been looking for a gel that I love and would repurchase for years, this is the one. I love it. Smells great, itâs a bit pricey but you need so little product and the bottle is good size. I have 2C 3A curls and my hair is very thick, usually curls fall out and frizz quickly but not with this gel.
