Sturdy, Good Quality
Hefty and solid. Easily climbable on the outside, with the weight to hold it steady. Inside has good traction without being unnecessarily rough. Built with small, burrow-dwelling animals in mind.Adult female leopard geckos can move through it with ease, for the most part. The gaps between the platforms are too thin if the piece is right up against the glass. There must be a small space to let them through. I do wish the gaps were absent entirely, as the top platform is not wide enough to relax on. The center platform may be wide enough to rest on, but is odd shaped and gets thinner in the middle. I feel the gaps are wasting space for them. However, a smaller animal, even slightly smaller, could utilize the gaps and platforms quite comfortably. Fully grown male leopard geckos could easily access the bottom level through either lower entrance, but modifications would have to be made for them to reach the mid and top platforms, as the inner middle entrance and the exterior upper entrance would be too narrow. The ceiling heights are sufficient. The material can be sanded to expand the entrances. The paintwork would be effected, though the color difference isn’t disruptive to the “natural” look.As a thought, consider putting a small “privacy curtain” on the outside of your enclosure. You can use tape, glue, velcro or magnets to attach it and materials can range from paper to decorative cloth to tiny wooden shutters if you want to get super crafty. In any case, you will be able to view your pet at will whilst providing them privacy and darkness. Especially important if they are to sleep in it.I would recommend this for smaller lizards, snakes, even gerbils or other small burrowing and nocturnal critters. Also, some animals, if small enough, might get better use of this if it were lying on its side. The biggest(bottom) entrance is about two inches around, the smallest(top) is about an inch. The two gaps are an inch wide at their widest points, but narrow quickly. Tunnels are nearly six inches long, about 1.5 inches high, the bottom floor is three inches wide, and the two platforms are about half that. The paint color varies. The piece I received was distinctly yellow in the places where the pictured one looks red. It doesn’t match my theme as well but I can hardly complain, the price point is good and the material and design are good.I ordered this without knowing if it would be big enough. I took a gamble because I couldn’t find answers. I do wish it were bigger, but I am overall satisfied and now there’s a little list of measurements in the “Answered Questions,” I hope it helps.

Full grown leopard gecko fits
I ordered this back in August and took awhile but my gecko uses this hide now! She seems to enjoy it. She is full grown and I was nervous that she wouldn’t fit but she does (kind of a big girl!). Give it time and they’ll figure it out. It’s also very sturdy and easy to clean and looks nice.

Great Hide – Leopard Gecko Loves it!
This hide looks great, is sturdy, and adds an extra dimension to my geckos home. I like that I can check the hide without ever needing to lift it.

I can’t get my lizards out of this
I put this in and now my leopard gecko won’t come out, he loves it so much. A bit small for an adult gecko.
