My cichlids love these. Very natural looking.
I bought two of these and they were a great addition to my tank. Cichlids are cave dwellers so they gravitated to these immediately. Even when they get a bit dirty they still look completely natural. The multiple openings in them is nice as well. The ones pictured are the large size.

Decent little log, but has many sharp edges inside
This log is pretty cute, but I’ve noticed some fraying of my ghost knife fish’s fins and upon further inspection, the inside of the log has some pretty sharp edges on the lips that bend inward, so there’s space to get stuck above the lips inside and the edges are sharp / dangerous for fish fins. I’d still buy it again, but file the edges down

Smooth before you put this near your pets.
As I read the reviews, I saw this one that said to take off all rough edges, sure enough I checked mine and it was so sharp, I spend 30 min sanding this thing, luckily I have experience sanding resin, however my hand and nails are sanded and cut as well… please be sure to sand, smooth this item before putting in your tank or terrarium.BTW this product should come with sanding paper and protective gloves. My hand are literally sanded. Other than that, looks great( not after sanding, but works great), good hideout.

Broken on arrival. Not adequately packaged to protect during shipping.
The item looked great and was exactly what we needed for our school project, however, it was inadequately protected by shipping packaging and was damaged when it arrived. Due to our tight schedule, returning for replacement was not an option. We had to try to cover the cracked end to hide it from view.
