Horrendous to clean…
So this is a really concept feeder. Works as intended for the most part, looks really nice. Easy to fill, easy to take the top off, easy to attach the bottom portion of it (clear plastic seed tray) but there are a few things YOU should know:#1: The clear plastic seed tray is super flimsy and will break easily when put together or take apart and by break I mean the tiny fitting and notches. Best once it’s all put together – super glue it so it never comes apart again.#2: Remember the horrendous rains we had recently? Well these feeders were out there and somehow water got inside of them and made a nasty mess of thick seeds and mold inside the bottom portion of the feeder which was really hard to clean out. Took me about 20 minutes of hard, super hot rinsing and sticking a skinny little stick down in there to try and dislodge it all. Letting it all dry out now so I can refill it.I was thinking of trying to create some type of rain top for it but the way it is designed makes that hard to do…. This have been a one off due to how crazy that rain was but just keep that in mind.Otherwise they’re pretty awesome. I like them.

Classic bird feeder, holds 1.5lbs of seed, not immune to squirrels
Nice looking brushed copper, classic style cylindrical feeder (not immune to squirrels without some tradtional anti-squirrel accessories) with 6 perches/ports for birds. Came fully assembled and ready to use. I bought the clear base to catch seeds, which only required snapping together, and I had difficulty getting some pieces to fit. You should hear a ‘click’, but I did not. The clip portion of the base had some excess plastic from the manufacturing/molding process that a simple nail file allowed me to shave off – then I heard the click! Easy to fix but needed a magnifier for my old eyes to see what the problem was (keep this in mind if used as a gift to someone needing to see and work with tiny parts)UPDATE: feeder is sturdy. Mine fell about 12-15′ from deck to a stone patio and survived 100% (even the extra base shows zero damage). yeee-haaaa!UPDATE2: the base is not sturdy and has cracked in several places while cleaning.

Feed the birds – and squirrels
I love the looks of this feeder. and the catch tray that is attached. I purchased this feeder because of the seed catcher. I have been wanting a feeder on my deck – but the birds are so messy with seeds. I bought this one and put it out front with others to see how it stood up to the traffic i have here which includes doves, blue jays and squirrels. I live on the edge of the woods, so i have given up arguing with squirrels and i just try to keep it clean. The only issue i have with cleaning it is that the catch tray has to be taken apart and i worry that the little clips will break – so far so good.I snapped the tray carefully together and fastened it. It is easy to refill – the tray catches the seed that come out the feeder holes when filling – nice. It stood up to all the traffic and the New England winter. Very happy with it. I will buy another to put on the deck.

A decent feeder but could be better
Feeder arrived on time, well-packaged. I bought the copper unit and it looks great. Works wellReady to use except for seed catching tray, which required no-tool assembly.The four parts did not easily fit together and some minor persuasion was needed to force the “click” signaling the pieces mated. Once assembled I reinforced each assembly point with superglue to prevent it from coming apart.The unit can be cleaned by removing the perches (held in place with a nut and bolt). It does require some time and patience to clean the unit but it is not complicated.Considering the price I consider this unit a good value for the money. Would buy again.

Brings so much joy
About one day after setting up this feeder, filled with no-mess wild bird seed, the birds came to eat. And they haven’t stopped. Chickadees, finches, pine siskins, sparrows, goldfinches, nuthatches and many more have been crowding the feeder. They seem to find it so easy to put their little heads into those holes and select a seed . . The perches are handy and comfortable for their little feet. Some of the little birds stay on their perch longer and seem to be quite relaxed while enjoying the view and leisurely eating. The little overflow catcher at the bottom is great . . it does as advertised and catches much of the seed that flies off . The seed catcher wasn’t easy to put together . . but once done is a sturdy device. The whole bird feeder is nicely designed and seems to be something that will last for a long time. A squirrel, a stellar jay and a woodpecker checked it out but found it not to their likeing. OH yes, and I am enjoying watching the little birds.

Good Feeder
We have a very big bird feeder but it was down for repairs to the dish and I bought this one for the interim. This is a nice bird feeder. We live in the country and have lots and lots of birds so I have to fill it almost daily, but it is strong and easy to fill. All kinds of birds visit including finch, titmouse, chickadee, cardinal and even the red bellied woodpecker. My other feeder is back up but Iâm leaving this one up too. The birds enjoy it and thatâs what counts.

Nice feeder
This is a very pretty bird feeder and our wild birds love it. This is the second one I have bought. The first one lasted about 2 years before the plastic tube started to crack apart at the bottom. The only thing I do not like about it is the fact that it does not come apart easily at the bottom to properly clean the tube. Other than that, it is a nice feeder at a decent price.

For the price, the quality is good, quite happy with it. Of course again at this price it won’t be heavy duty construction but it is solid enough. I’m happy this can feed the birds without the squirrels taking their food away.
