Honestly, great and cheap heater
This water heater works very well. It heats fast and consistently. The color of the light changes to red when the heater is on and green when itâs idle. You can read the screen for the temperature and use the screen to change the temperature with the controller too. Itâs very durable so far and has worked for a few months now! Great value for the price honestly.

Good quality heater
The heater works well. My only dings would be I wish the LED indicator lights were brighter to see it in the back of my tank and the suction cups are not the best when it is positioned at an angle like I have it in my tank. But the suction cup issue is likely universal. This is my first time using this brand and have it in two other tanks and working well. It has been running for 6 weeks with no issues that I can see so far. The temperature seems to be within the stated accuracy when I check the water temp with an older analog thermometer.

Best ceramic heater though weak suction cups
Great little ceramic heater that is enclosed so your fish will not get injured. I absolutely love this new heater, and the digital temp makes me relieved to see the temperature I set it to. There is one issue: the suction cups to place the heater in the tank are weak and do not stick for long. I have to constantly press the heater to the side of the tank, or it will float. Otherwise, super purchase to heat your tank. I tried many.

Unit not functional to rated tank size suggestion.
The 10w heater does not work for a 3 gallon tank. Tried multiple usb power supplies, even some past the recommended power. I requested a replacement in case my unit was defective. Same outcome. Before sending the old unit back, I tried both together and still wasnt able to heat the water to preset temperature.The actual heater is of a great size. According to the manual, the 50w is of the same size. I would recommend that one for anything bigger than 2 gallons.

Easy to adjust, heats consistently, maintains overnight temperature.
So far it is performing great in my 75 gallon. I originally bought a well known brand that begins with an âFâ that could not keep up heating and maintaining the water temperature. It was a constant problem. I woke up one morning and the temperature in the tank had dropped over 6 degrees! Two days later and I had an Ich break out and my fish were stressed. I lost over 9 fish! I knew something had to be done and fast. I was planning to use this heater as a booster with the other heater so that it could help maintain the temperature, when the other heater which was less than 3 months old suddenly quits working! Good thing I already ordered and had this one! This heater (which was half the price btw) quickly warmed up the water and has kept it there consistently all by itself. Finally! It is not overly big and intrusive and blends in with my black background. I love not having to put my hand in the water to adjust the temperature!

I’m pleased with this little bit mighty heater!
This little heater is a champ! I have a betta that lives on my kitchen peninsula, and the house gets pretty chilly in the winter, and we love our AC. This little heater has been able to keep up! I’ve monitored the water tempature, and it is steady. It does run 2 degrees more than I wanted, and isn’t adjustable. Still within a good tempature range for my betta, B***h Fish. I’m more concerned with stability than tempature, and it is stable. The water level shut off is a really nice touch too. The USB is handy not only for plugging everything into a smaller area, but also great that everything can go onto a battery pack in the case of a power outage. It also looks really nice! The thin and uniform encasement looks very sleek, and is easy to monitor the function light. If I haven’t updated this review, it’s still working.

The best one yet!
I have tried several heaters from Hygger and by far, this one is the best. The temperature reads accurately and it’s easy to use. I also feel that it’s safe for my fish without breaking the bank. It’s a little bigger than the other that it replaced but I like it much better since it’s more accurate and displays the temp to the 1/2 degree. Hygger’s customer service is also very good. I had a part break on a water change system and they quickly got me out the replacement part.
