Operation Principle
Dirty water enters from the bottom water inlet pipe and the top oil film remover port. Part of the water flows out from the water pump aeration port (with a regulating valve to adjust bubble size to increase oxygen); part of the water flows into the filter box and flows out through the filter media.

However, heater was broken and I contacted to Hygger team to replace it and they have send me new heater without charging anything to me. Part of the temperature number light stopped working
I received the hugger HG146 10 gallon Smart Aquarium September 11, 2025 and the small led light showing temperature settings ect has a light out as of September 17. I called higgerâs help number during their business hours but no one answered the phone. Iâll update as necessary.

This is a really good low maintenance beginner tank! I realy love every aspect of it , i only have to change some of the water every week or two weeks , thats about it.

Almost plug and play
This would be an easy 5 star of not for a bit weak of a light if you’re planning a planted tank. Also the directions dont cover assembly of the disassembled pump and filter parts, almost common sense for how it should fit. Added a cheap sponge over the intake to protect nanos, but otherwise a plug and play tank.
