Very accurate tester and very easy to use.
I have recently set up several different fish tanks in my house. I needed a way way, an accurate way, to measure the pH in my tanks. That’s when I ran across this.Not only is the manufacturer a name brand but is trustworthy as I have much of their equipment to base this on.This tester is very easily calibrated with the buffering solutions it provides in the kit. Just follow the directions exactly. Once calibrated, it works perfectly.This comes in super handy during any sort of addition to the tank or just to be tested at random times to make sure your tanks are at the right pH.The device is actually very well made. It is also very durable for its size.The tester, after being calibrated, is very accurate. I have complete confidence it’s giving me the correct reading.The operation of the device is as simple as simple can be. It comes with instructions, but it is very self-explanatory if you’ve ever used a pH tester before. If you haven’t, I advise reading the directions.I’m not saying the device is waterproof but I accidentally dropped it into my tank and was surprised that it floats. I took it out immediately and wiped it down and watched it for any condensation buildup inside the display. I did not see any condensation buildup so I am happy to say that I still have a working pH tester.It does only come with one set of buffering solution but you can also buy more buffering solution on Amazon for cheap.It is recommended that you calibrate this device approximately every six months. You could probably even get away with a year if you use it frequently. The more frequently you use it, the less you have to calibrate it.The overall design is well suited for its function. I don’t think I have one bad thing to say about this tester.I would say that this is good for not only the novice but also the experienced aquarium enthusiast.Overall, my experience with this tester has been outstanding. My tanks have a great pH. Confirmed by this tester.I can with confidence recommend this to my fellow aquarium enthusiasts, family, friends, and coworkers.Anybody that owns a fish tank needs to have this pH tester. The value for the money is there and this will last quite some time just based off of the build quality.So if you haven’t already, and don’t have a tester look no further. You can definitely pick this up and not have to worry about replacing it for quite some time.

Water Tester & PH Meter, 5-in-1, amazing!
Quite practical tester that allows you to measure salinity, temperature, pH, TDS, and conductivity on a single unit. The unit’s sensors are kept under a cap that has an O right to maintain them free of moisture and contamination. The unit is easy to handle, looks really good, and it is very easy to use. It speaks out the measurements, so you do not have to be looking at the screen to get the results. Make sure you read the instructions. I did test it with bottled water and tap water (to check for TDS) and the results were as expected. Also tested for salinity and conductivity. Finally I did run a quit pH measurement on tap water and the pH was within the expected range (about 7.5). I did not calibrate the unit for pH. Calibration requires using the full content of the packets included.The unit issues results very quickly, but it does require an “adjustment” time of about 2 minutes to stabilize the sensors to the water temperature, as per the user manual. The display is well lit, and extremely easy to read. Then again, the voice notification is a bonus since it reads the results back to you. Great little unit for pool owners.

Good quality, easy to use, easy to read
I was a little skeptical of the quality of this tester at first, simply because of how light it is. That was skepticism was quickly assuaged when I did my first water test. I always knew my tap water quality was good, but I wanted to know how good. This meter let me know.This meter is pretty solidly built, albeit light, and it reads pretty fast. I do have a couple of minor issues with it, though. The first is that it gives salinity in percentages instead of parts per million. It’s easy enough to convert it (just move the decimal 2 places to the right).The other issue for me is the speaker on this thing is LOUD. I haven’t found a way to adjust the volume either. It’s either ear drum shattering or off. I don’t need any sort of voice guidance, so I just turned it off by holding the on/off button.As far as the screen goes, it’s nice and vibrant. It looks very similar to a VFD (vacuum flourescent display), but in all probability, it’s just a white 7-segment display. In any case, it looks very good. It’s clear and easy to read, even from a few of feet away. The USB-C charging port is a nice touch as well. It charges pretty fast and the battery lasts for a while. I’ve done several tests, and it still shows full.If you want to compare your water results with the averages for your city, try searching (City State) average groundwater temp/ph/tds/ec/salinity. Replace (city state) with your city and state and only use 1 parameter at a time. For example “Hackensack NJ average groundwater ph”.Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the quality of this tester. It does everything it advertises. It’s just as good as the more expensive testers, at a fraction of the price. You really can’t go wrong with it.
