Excellent Quality Mask
My horse has an eye disease which requires shading from UV light. He has never been able to keep a fly mask on, but after much research I thought I would give this a try. I have been amazed at how strong the loop and hook closure is as well as the very sturdy construction. The eye seams are a wonderful upgrade, keeping the fabric away from his eyes and more comfortable. Visibility is great considering the high percentage of blockageâat least from my view (yes, I gave it a try). All in all, this is an excellent mask for UV reduction or to keep flies away! And the price on Amazon was the best I could find!!

Amazing Product
I swear by this! My horse has pink eyes and a white face, the sun is not her friend. We struggled with eye irritation from fly masks until this one! The double layered UV protection is amazing and the durability of the fly mask itself is also awesome. My mare is hard on her masks, these hold up well and fit beautifully. Amazing product for the price. Her eyes hardly water, arenât irritated, and are protected from the sun all day.

Great mask!
I have a rescue who has blue eyes with pink skin & needed a small malignancy on his eyelid removed (successfully, with borders, many years ago). Consequently, just to be safe, we have him wear a fly mask year round. Weâve gone through A LOT of masks. He removes them for one, but he also rubs easily at the bridge of his nose with most standard fly mask designs. He also has a pink nose &, for some reason, none of the extra uv blocking masks seem to have a nose attachment. All of my other horses love Cashels, so we tried him in those for comfort, even though theyâre not as good on the uv, theyâre better than nothing – but heâs a pony/draft/cob/something – who knows – & heâs not an easy fit, so the Cashel that fits him best ends up on the ground 75% of the time. All this to say, when I saw this one, I bought it immediately (horse size) & itâs, by far, the best fitting, most durable & (somehow?!) least expensive one heâs had. Heâs been wearing it for about 6 months & I donât think heâs taken it off yet, so he must agree that itâs a winner. I think I can speak for both of us by giving it 5 stars.

Great mask with a small issue
This is actually a great fly mask but I have one small issue. Part of the mask is sewn together, giving it an odd fit at his ear. I’m going to try and cut the thread with the hope of not destroying the mask in the process.I have purchased 2 very expensive masks this season and both have been ruined for various reasons. I wanted to try a less expensive mask since my luck has been so bad this season! To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this mask.Much to my surprise, this is actually a good fly mask. My horse has pale blue eyes so he needs a built-in visor and this is excellent because the visor itself is darker than the rest of the mask providing sun protection.I will purchase this mask again as I do feel the quality is good and the fit is perfect for my horse. It is a good value for the cost.

This is a great fly mask,protects my horses eyes from sun exposure,he has cataracts n glaucoma n the mask protects his eyes,95% protection from the sun.

Too small for a standard size horse
The construction is fine, but it doesn’t hold the material off the eyes, instead it sits right on the eyes of my 15.3 and 15.1 Appaloosas, so really it is too small and there are no size options. One of my horses can’t actually see with it on because he has his eyes closed. Works better as a blindfold than a fly mask.
