Well Made, Adjustable, Good Air Flow, Runs Slightly Large
Unlike many things these days, this item runs to size, even a bit large. On our 17 h foundational ASB with a big head and looong ears, the large was still a shade big. (We usually have to cut the mask’s mesh ear tips off a eared mask for our boy.) The extensive mesh is an excellent alternative to the usual stretchy cloth with small eyeholes, alowing some breathing and air flow on a hot day. (And out west here, where the humidity is low, transpiration (evaporation of sweat) through contact with the air is an important cooling process.The mesh is robust, and seems likely to stand up as well as any cloth material — possible better, if the air flow reduces the rubbing the face or mask on objects in the stall.So far so good for this well designed mask — but of course only time will tell about durability, and so if it is destroyed sooner than expected (all fly masks get destroyed at some point) or lasts longer (one can only hope!) this review will be updated.

Nice and light! Perfect for hot days…
I like that this mask is lightweight. My horse wears it 24/7 out in a pasture with trees. Between this georgia weather and the flies, this mask is a big help to her. For some reason they’ve been biting her on her nose. She has managed to get it off last night, but sheâs definitely a spicey mare, so I’m not suprised. I will say that she has managed to keep this one on longer than the other brands that I’ve gotten. It’s nice and airy and she doesn’t get sweaty in it, which is awesome.Overall, I am very pleased with this fly mask and I will definitely purchase this brand again. It’s very well worth every penny because it helps my girl out alot. I will recommedn this fly mask to anyone any day.
