Wonderful starting point, but there’s always room for improvement
I gave at a 5 star because I think this is a win for the bunny community. But I think true functionality, I’d give it a 4.5 star.Pros:1. Hay mess: This is definitely bunny parenting on easy mode—things are a lot less messy when it comes to hay. Being allergic to hay, this definitely helps a lot. This picture is several hours after I cleaned up and it looks pretty neat still whereas it wouldve been a mess already in the past.2. The plastic material is also very nice. My buns is 8 years old and I’ve explored through my fair share of different types of litter boxes. Most of the time, the bunny pee leaves a calcified pee stains on the plastic that I could not scrub off. I throw away some of my litter boxes after some time for this reason. With this, everything is smooth, it’s almost ceramic in nature. No scrubbing needed, I just rinse off with water and everything comes off.Assembly and disassembly is very easy makes cleaning easy as well.Room for improvement:Someone mentioned a cap on the hay feeder. I 100% agree. I think that will also help with the allergy situation and help with aesthetic stuff tooI know Lorelei mentioned that the box had low clearance to consider elder bunnies. I think that’s definitely a good idea, but I think for buns like mine who still has quite a kick on him, there should be a litter box with a higher clearance. My bunny tends to kick the bedding out when he comes in and out of it. Thats the mess I have to deal with rather than the hay. So, who knows maybe they can provide another litter box with different clearance options. You know what would be extra awesome? A biodegradeable pad/lining that fits this. With the doggy lining I have right now, my buns get bothered by the fact that it may slip back and forth so he wants to dig it out. So a nonslip pad that accompanies this—Now that would be a game changer.Someone else also mentioned bunnies climbing up top and getting their paws stuck. Before this litter box, I was using one of those hidden litter box and I just velcroed a cloth hat feeder inside it. It was nice until the bunny pulled too hard and the adhesive on the velco weakened causing it to fall and it gets peed on. But hey, he never attempted to climb on top of it…so….a round litter box may help. Bunnies can’t get on round things 🤔Thanks Lorelei for this invention. Best of luck.

    My Rabbits LOVE it
This product works !! its easy to set up, it promotes cleanness, my bunnies can easily get to the hay. My bunnies just love it, they want to spend time in there as if its a fun place. I have really loved the removable hay feeder so I can take it and refill it over the hay bin, instead of trying to take handfuls across the room. My bunnies are obsessed with it, it been pretty funny to watch them just sitting in it and they love to look out the top of it. I did not put the top on, but it does have one. I love the low hop clearance to get into the box. I am going to order another one and completely get rid of my old system. i usually run two boxes because i have two rabbits. I cannot recommend this clean, nice looking product enough and my rabbits agree as they absolutely love it as well. FINALLY someone made something for rabbits.

    A fantastic box!
This box is more spacious than I anticipated —which is good, because it fits my two rabbits just right! It is a nice, modern design and easily cleanable. I love the low entry for my aging rabbit. The ONE thing I would love to see added is a lid for the hay compartment.I recommend filling the hay compartment separately and inserting it or else you will get a hay mess. I just wish it had a lid because the hay sticking out of the top is a slight eye sore. It is not a functional problem at all—just a design element I would like to see improved :)I have definitely seen a reduction in hay mess, which has always been my primary complaint regarding my rabbits’ litter boxes. To transition my rabbits, the first day I kept the lid off the top so that they felt secure. The second day I added the top and it’s been smooth sailing! Thanks Lorelai & Lennon! We love this!

Great Invention (just not necessarily for all bunnies)
I bought this litter box because I saw multiple posts about it on Instagram, Tiktok, etc. I’ve had my bunny for 6+ years and got her from the shelter when she was 6 months old, continuing the same litter box system they had: bedding with hay on top of it. When I saw this litter box I was so excited that it would limit the amount of hay waste that I currently deal with! Unfortunately, I think my bunny has become too familiar with the way she likes her litter box because she will just pull out all the hay and sit on it, kind of defeating the purpose of the box. Considering the fact that it has an $80 price tag, I think that it isn’t necessarily a good purchase for all rabbit owners if their bunny has a particular way they like to use their box. However, I do really appreciate the design and think that it is good quality, just is a bummer it doesn’t work super well for my bunny.

    Perfect Fit, Sturdy
Sturdy and fit like a glove in the HOP Rabbit Litter Box.My rabbit liked sleeping on the grid more then using it as a potty to keep his paws clean so I did have to remove it but he loves using it as a bed!If he did like using it, it would keep his paws very clean. Its relatively easy to use, clean and to put in and take out.Depending on the breed of your baby the depth of the grid may not be enough in the litter box. If you have a have a smaller breed like holland lop, or lionhead its great but if you have a larger breed you have to clean more often (to avoid having cleaning issues).Definitely worth the cost if your bunny will use it!

Love this litter box!My bunny is used to covered litter boxes so he had no trouble using it. I think it’s a good size for one average sized bun. Mine is a lionhead/rex mix. The only problem I’ve encountered right away is my bunny is used to digging so he gets frustrated with the hay being contained in the feeder. I don’t think Lorelai can fix that, it’s a me issue.Howrver because of this he has taken to hopping up on top and eating the hay straight from the top. I could take the top cover off of course, and already have. But I like the smell confinement and thought that was a great feature when I purchased. I wish there was a little lid for the hay feeder because that would help a lot as others have mentioned. It would also help with mess😊 until then I will try sprinkling more hay in the tray for digging and leaving the airation lid off.I love the low clearance entry and don’t mind a bit of litter sprinkling out. I’m redoing my basement from carpet to flooring soon so that cleanup will be super easy in time! The material is nice and the white makes it look so sleek and clean. Overall I think this is a huge win for the bunny community and can’t wait to purchase amd support future upgrades and products from Hop 😊

This box is perfect for my buns. Love that I can load the hay from the top without having to remove the container. Their space is so much cleaner!

The idea is great! However, I have 4 bunnies and none of them liked this litter box. One was constantly trying to get the hay feeder out. One tried to go under the hay feeder. One dug all of the litter out and one would sleep in it but refused to use it as a litter box. We went back to our good old jumbo high sided stainless steel litter boxes. I kept the hop box in their enclosure (without the hay feeder and litter) because Mooshie loves to sleep in it:)
