Very sturdy, itâs a great piece of furniture
So Iâm updating my review. I never did get a response from the seller or Amazon. So I gorilla glued the screws into the broken board for the stairs. Itâs a solid piece of furniture. The cats use it more for a feeding station. One of them has used the litter box a few times only. Not sure if they donât know itâs there or what.So Iâve been waiting for this to arrive and have been so excited to put it together. Well, while I was installing the railing for the steps, I had the screws partially in. I lifted on the railing to move the board. The screws pulled completely out damaging the screw holes rendering it unusable to install screws. The screw supports pulled right out of the board and stayed attached to railing. I tried to chat with Amazon just to get a new #5 board. Amazon kept kicking me to returns. Not able to contact seller on Amazon site. I found seller on google and messaged them. Hopefully Iâll get an answer quickly and get a new #5 board so I can complete assembly. What a bummer.The review that says they are missing #5 – itâs attached to #6 with plastic feet. You have to remove the feet to separate the 2 boards.

On the small side for large cats
Sturdy for what it is, though the velcroed “blanket” that goes on top is poorly designed and doesn’t stay in place, so I removed it. The included dome light is also pretty pointless since cats have excellent night vision and don’t need a light. The light is rechargeable but not motion activated, so it needs to be charged daily if you’re wanting to leave it on all night for your cat.I bought this originally to conceal a litterbox, but my cat almost literally throws so much litter outside of the box that the cabinet didn’t really help contain the flying litter. He’s also a pretty big cat and the inside of the cabinet seemed pretty cramped for him. It didn’t work well for my cat as a litterbox enclosure, but I really liked it otherwise, so I kept it. Now it serves as a hideaway napping spot, which he seems to like.

We bought this to add a catbox centrally located in our home. One cat was being aggressive toward another cat when she used the litter box. So we bought this to put in our living room to provide a safe space for her to use the box and it doesnât look like a litter box is there. You can use with or without the light. Good quality.

Easy to clean. Bad instructions & faulty parts.
Looks great after taking time to have to drill my own pilot holes and use my own screws for it, since it didnât come complete. Easy to put together if you know how to put things together. Instructions are pretty unclear, so if youâre a beginner, I wouldnât start with this. Good thing is I donât smell the litter when walking by, even after a few days. Easy to open and clean.

Make sure the litter box fits
Great! Super easy to assemble (I used the provided allen wrench and a drill). One thing is that the litter box I have is too big so I have to get a slightly smaller one before I can put it to the test. Also if you have hardwood floors, know that this product doesnât have protectors on the feet so you may need to get some padding as well.All in all I got it together in an hour or so while my cat supervised. She explored it as soon as I finished and I think sheâs gonna love it.

Looks great
No clear instructions, so a huge hassle to put together. My husband and I spent 2 hours on it because he put it together wrong a few times. We yelled, he cried….and decided not to bother putting the feet on.We got it for our 6 month old kittens and they do love it!Pictured with a slow feeder which we use to feed them on it, away from the other cats.
