The only problem I have is that it comes apart a little too easily. My cat is the most finicky thing in the world, but she loves this as much as she can. She’s not really one for toys. This, a scratch post, and a cardboard scratcher are her only toys she favors. I almost died of shock when she used this the first timeð

Not sturdy. Too lightweight
This item broke. Like others have stated, you need to glue the ends down into the wood. It broke within an hour. Also, it moves around because it is light weight. Base shouldBe weighted. . I wedged it up against a wall and a table. Not what I really wanted.

Don’t. Buy this product!!
My kitty loves these types of self scratchers. I wanted to replace the one she had for years because she was actually wearing the bristles off. I purchased this one because it looked sturdy. Wrong. The brush continuously popped out from the base. The bottom has no grippers so it slid all over the place. I purchased rubber grippers to stick on the bottom to stop the sliding problem and glued the brush tips into the slots on the base to prevent the brush from popping out. Worked for a short time and then kitty tried to go in for a good back scratch and the whole piece just snapped off. I shouldn’t have to make so many adjustments just to make a product somewhat functional. VERY displeased. Waste of money.

Would be great for small cats, but…
I have larger cats. With the exception of the bristles being very hard, they liked this okay. Unfortunately, they started wrestling around while using it and the arch snapped off from the base with no way to fix it. The base seems to be a lighter weight plastic. If you have smaller cats, go for it. If you have larger or heavier cats, it’s probably best to pass.

My cat adores this arch brush!
I bought this arch brush because my cat was being increasingly needy asking to be brushed. She is able to brush herself some of the time and she likes resting just underneath the arch. I am so happy for this purchase!

Broke After 3 Months
My cat liked this thing â that is, until she broke it. She would lean directly on the front of the arch until she knocked the whole thing over. Maybe my cat just rubbed against this way too aggressively. Maybe it wasnât the best quality item. Maybe it was both. But regardless, after 3 months of barely any use, it finally broke. She somehow broke the base to the point where the arch could not be reinserted and we had to throw it away. Not cat proof, donât recommend if youâre looking for something that lasts.

This is the second one my kitty has had from Amazon but I like this one a lot better. It is now more secure in the holders and does not fall off base or be wonky when the cat rubs on it to groom. I was thinking it was a mint color but is brown base although it does not really matter but the mint would match my area decor where I have it sitting . Anyway I am happy Clancy is happy and when Mommy and Clancy are happy well then everyone is happy Thanks Amazon another winner

Really made cheaply and the base is plastic the cat canât grip to walk and comb herself just a poor made product especially since it cost nearly 50.00 I have a friend that bought similar and very well made compared to this one
