Customers say
Customers find the water pump works well for intermittent use and appreciate its powerful performance, with one customer noting it can push water through a 40W laser. The pump offers good value for money, has good water flow, and is easy to use, with one mentioning it makes water changes easier. While some customers find it pretty quiet, others note it’s a bit noisy. The lifespan receives mixed feedback, with several customers reporting it only lasted two months.

Long cord. Quiet. Good flow rate
Nice little pump. Quiet, works with less than 12V, or with a PWM circuit to vary output if required. 3/8 hose is a little big but if you use a 1/4 in hose at the end, the water travels a little further. Max head i got with a 3S (12v) LiIon battery was about 7ft high.

Much smaller than expected, but it works!
I laughed out loud when it arrived because it was so much smaller than I had expected, but it actually works great! My test panel is 100 watts (more powerful than this pump is rated for), so I shaded much of the panel for the first attempt. Worked fine. Then I allowed more light on it and the stream of water was quite powerful! I let it run like that for at least 20 minutes while I ran to get my wife and kids to watch what this funny little pump could do! Itâs my opinion that this thing could probably run all day on a 100w panel and not have a problem, but Iâll still buy a smaller panel for it as to not overload it (or just hook up several of them to match the max 100w output). I do enjoy that itâs variable based on the wattageâ¦makes for some interesting possibilities.

Works Very Well
Works very well, tested it today and it took 3 minutes to pump 7 gallons of fresh water on a horizontal/downward plane (did not test how high it will pump water). Product/Package arrived as advertised.

Wire can allow water into motor body
I’ve bought 3 of these. The first has been great for 6 months now, so I bought 2 more as spares for my indoor goldfish pond. I ended up using one of the spares on an outside fish pond attached to a solar panel. After about a month, it stopped working. I had plenty of power from the solar panel and I checked the wires. I popped the 3rd one in and it started pumping water. I cut open the bad pump and discovered that the wire had let water into the motor body and rotted one of the wires completely off of the motor…! This is a bad design compared to the other submersible pumps where the motor is completely sealed…. For the price, I expected that I’d get about a year out of the pump before I swapped it out for a new one. I like the design, but am reserved about the longevity. After a few months the other two pumps failed too. Never getting these again.

A Lot Of Power, A Little Loud, Cheap.
I purchased one of the pumps to circulate coolant around a 3d printer. It worked good but i found it was a little noise. However, after trying alternatives including an 80 dollar pump, this pump offers superior power. It is a little loud but not too bad. Also, i would say the original one lasted about 3 months before it got so loud i couldnât take it. I run it in 22c water for about 17-30 hours straight, and i think these are more for intermentetn (15min on, 15min off) cycles, so i would say it delivers over all. Best option i could find, at any price really.

Works on Tunze 5017 ATO
This works on my Tunze 5017 ATO.Replaced the old original Tunze pump. Cheap and simply to use.

powerful and loud
I have been using this to pump water out of a small bilge. It was by far the cheapest option, and itâs a very powerful little pump, capable of moving a lot of water relatively quickly. The downside is that itâs on the loud side. I was also disappointed that after one season the pump corroded or collected dirt and stopped spinning. With a little big of persuasion I got it to spin again (barely), but it definitely needs to be replaced. Thereâs no way to open it to clear obstructions or clean it. Even lubrication is a challenge.

This pump, at best, may be able to pump up 3 feet. The only time it could possibly travel the 15′ or 5m advertised is if 12 feet of the line went down hill. May work for an aquarium if you have a 12 v battery around. Definitely not recommended for potable water van use.
