I bought this to put on the 55-gallon drum for a deer feeder. I was completely surprised at the quality of what I got considering the low price. I love how simple the timer is to operate and how many feeding times can be programmed, but what surprised me the most was the quick response from customer service I had an issue on Saturday sent an email and got a response within a couple of hours

Doesnât throw unless on high setting
I purchased the feeder, solar charger, and battery. I charged the battery prior to using. The feeder wouldnât spin to throw corn unless itâs on the highest setting, then throws it so far away that itâs in the brush and trees. I only have 2 feeding times, set for 10 seconds each, have the solar panel facing south to catch the majority of the light, and itâs dead in a week when I come back out. Put a new battery on, same thing. Dead after a few days⦠Iâve had other motors and solar charger combos, and donât replace my battery for 2 years!! Donât waste your money on this set up from this manufacturer. Do yourself a favor, and get the same style from Wildgame Innovations. I have one of those also, and recommend spending the few extra $$ for a MUCH BETTER PRODUCT.

When battery gets low it doesnât time out after 4 seconds and continues to run and empty the feeder
When battery gets low, the logic board fails. When battery gets low it does not time out after 4 seconds and continues to run and empty out the feeder. Costly and a pain to refill the feeder. With my old timers, when the battery got weak, the motor would not spin but the electronics worked properly.
