Nice cozy cave.
It has 3 levels of heat. My baby bearded dragons never go inside the cave but love to lay on the top of the heated cave under the uvb light. High is not too hot, but I mostly keep it on low or med just in case. It has a USB end piece that u can plug into the wall port plug thing. So either or. One thing though, I wish they had more smoothly applied the heating pad to the inside of the top of the cave wall. They didn’t smooth it down flat on some parts, and so it’s open and u can put ur finger in and under the pad in those places. It’s irritating bc my baby dragons never go inside the cave, but that’s where all the crickets go and they r staying on and under those portions of the heating pad, and I’ve got a feeling that the sticky stuff has stuck some crickets to it and they’re in there dead prob. But when I want crickets I just pick the cave up and knock it around a bit to make them all fall out. But then bc there’s crickets in the enclosure and I can’t he sure to get them all out, I have to put my babies to bed in a special way so I don’t have to worry about any crickets nibbling on them and I leave gut loading food for the crickets to munch on at night. One of the reasons I loathe crickets… But when the occasional dubia roach gets out, they also like to stay in the top of the inside of the cave. This would be ok, if the mat had been properly smoothed flat over the surface. I didn’t notice at first or I would have tried to smooth it flat bf I even put it in there. Now I’m afraid of what I will smash up in there if I do, so just check that bf use and maybe u can fix that if it’s like that on urs. I will only be using this temporarily while the babies are small so at this point just leaving it as is. Still worth the purchase as my baby bearded dragons really love it, they often sit on it and watch TV.

Not too bad
Not exactly what I wanted but it works.

Perfect for a smaller guy
This does just what was needed, my snake is too big but he loved to curl around it (upgraded to a bigger hut).

Tortoise loves it!!
I’m not real sure how much heat this throws off. It has a heat pad on the inside top area. My tortoise seems to really like it. Hopefully it will keep him warm during the winter months. It’s not real big. So he will eventually out grow it. So keep that in mind when deciding to purchase or not.

Barley gets warm and isnât easy to clean
Itâs a nice and big cave for my tarantula and I got it in hopes that it would make a warm spot for her to go too when she gets to cold but the cave barley warms up. I understand you donât want the cave getting too hot because itâll be bad for the animal but even on the highest temperature setting, the heat is barley noticeable both inside and on top of the cave. Along with that, the cave is also quite difficult to clean because the heating pad and wiring canât be removed
