Great for small dogs
Work great for a small size dog house. Being they don’t put out light is a plus. My dog stayed warm without the light bothering her. The smaller Watts is also a plus.

This works great to keep the crawl space warm to keep my plumbing from freezing.
I used this to keep my plumbing from freezing not for reptiles, and they work great they’re more durable than a light bulb and you can actually touch them and not scald yourself and raise blisters. But it did a great job radiating heat to keep my plumbing from freezing and once we got to like 15 below so they do work I have one in my well house and I also have one in a crawl space and both of those spaces stayed perfectly unfrozen even during minus 15° weather. Do keep in mind that those spaces are insulated that I had these in, but they weren’t heated from the house at all because the house didn’t have heat at all. The only heat that this plumbing got was from these elements and it worked perfect

Really great heat lamps. Definitely hot.
They got a bit too hot and burned my home.

Work well for chick brooders, allows natural dark at night
SO glad we got these vs. the red light heat bulbs. They’ve worked really well for our chick brooder, and it allows a more natural day/night in terms of light. We’ve recommended these to several of our friends, and they’ve worked out really well.

Great bulbs! I use them in my ball python’s enclosure and their heat output is exactly what I had needed. I will say that when I mist his enclosure if water touches the bulb, there is a strange sizzling sound and the smell and sight of faint smoke. I was concerned at first, but it all dissipated after a minute or two and returned to normal. I noticed this in both my bulbs anytime I mist, but otherwise, they work perfectly! Just something to keep in mind if you need to install these bulbs inside an enclosure (PVC/Wood) like I had to.

I purchased these for my hedgehog and am really impressed. I wasn’t sure exactly what brands to buy when I first got him and chose this one mostly at random and am so happy I did. They’re about 4-5 inches in diameter (my hand is a size medium women’s) in size and are currently running in an Exo Terra model PT2348. They’ve been on constantly (with some brief moments off when the enclosure gets too hot) for about 1.5 months and I had to change one of the bulbs yesterday (for specifics, the bulbs have been on since Oct 26 and one burnt out Dec 18, the other is still running). There’s 2 bulbs heating a 198 L bin near a window very well, though with colder temperatures coming I might need to set up a third lamp. They’re set up on a metal top directly on top of the bin so I’m not sure how they would heat if suspended above the enclosure but I imagine it would still be great.I’ll definitely be sticking with these bulbs for my little spike boy! They’re just heat bulbs so no brightness.Their functionality is great and they’re a great value for your money!
