Lightweight feeder
This is a decent feeder sized for 1 or 2 goats. Probably not going to last too many seasons, but it’s good until I build something more permanent.

Nice with one big concern.
I’m conflicted on this review because part of me really likes this product. It actually feels really nice once it’s all put together. (It was pretty easy to put together, just requiring some minor assembly.) The part that I really don’t like is that the screws are pretty long and they sort of stick out from the feeder. I’m worried that my horse will somehow hurt himself on the ends that are popping out. If you are a horse person, you know that horses have a special way of finding every way to hurt themselves… I’m going to hang it up on the wall and see if I still feel comfortable leaving it in his paddock. Will report back either way!

Not So Much Heavy Duty but Great For Your Smaller Livestock
This hay feeder is good. Need to put it together which was fairly straight forward, some of the bolts snapped while installing so have some extras on hand just in case. Would I call this heavy duty, not so much but with that said it served the intended purpose for us using it for our goats. I appreciate the rounded corners and the spacing so they do not waste a ton of hay. It was not a big as expected but did hold about four flakes of hay. Put this up in the barn so when it rains we can hay them inside. Would I use this for my horses or cattle no but for your smaller mini ponies, sheep or goats yes. Imo I just do not see it holding up with the big kids.

Sturdy hay feeder
This was easy to put together once I realized that one specific part has to be in the middle. It would also be easy to mount this in such a way that you could make 2 feeders out of it. Good size feeder and comes with all the hardware needed to put it together and mount it on the wall.

Sturdy little feeder. It is smaller than you think. More for goats or smaller livestock. Definitely not for a horse. Can hold maybe half a flake if pushed in the feeder, smaller than it looks.
