Giant breed rabbit loves it
Our very large breed rabbit (Flemish giant) made rabbit-sized hay bags seem like a joke. We could barely stuff a full meal of hay in one, and constantly needed to refill it. This goat hay feeder is the perfect size for us to make sure she doesnât easily run out of hay. (Like other herbivores, rabbits also may colic when their feeding is too disrupted.)This hay bag is excellent for transporting the hay across our living area without dispersing hay dust into the air, or leaving a trail of strands across our floor. It holds the hay up off the floor nicely, keeping it clean until itâs eaten.The wide opening allows normal rabbit selective feeding, and our bunny is easily able to pick out which strands she deems worthy of eating. Luckily our rabbit also pulls out and discards the strands she wonât eat (seen all over floor in picture). If your rabbit doesnât discard these and simply eats around them, you may need to watch and empty the contents of the bag, as it could look full when it is actually stuffed with rejected hay your rabbit refuses to eat.This hay bag is definitely sturdily constructed to withstand rabbit-level scratching and tearing. Of course no fabric can withstand a focused rabbit deliberately using their chisel-like teeth. Our bunny has started to tatter part of the edging around the opening, so monitoring is needed, as well as some trimming or removal of damaged fabric. (Ours is unpredictable- we can never guess what fabric sheâll ignore, chew once and then leave alone, or systematically destroy.)From a bunny ownerâs perspective, this bag is well-made, and a good size and design for a large breed rabbit. Like all new items, monitoring and care is needed; however this bag is an excellent value and affordable enough to consider trying. So far in our house, this hay bag is a win!

Great size for trailering, holds four flakes of hay
I donât use hay feeders in the pasture or paddock because my 41â pony will get her hooves stuck in them.However I do use hay feeders when I am traveling! As I am a firm believer in feeding while trailering to help prevent stress and colic.This hay feeders has extremely long top straps which is perfect to configure it to my old trailer. The gaps are pretty big in the front which will help make it easy for my horses or pony to get hay easily and stress free.I can for about FOUR FLAKES of hay into this feeder.Is this the highest quality one I have? NoBut is this one perfect to have on hand? AbsolutelyFor the price this is an unbeatable one to have on hand and fill up with extra hay before a trip.

Good little feeder bag for goats
Goat approved feeder. Material seems a bit thin but as a quick way to keep goats occupied it works quite well. Strap is adjustable for different lengths, I just threw it over a fence post to see if they’d use it and they had no problems. I shoved the equivalent of two flakes of hay into it more or less, probably could have gotten more, just so you have an idea of what you’re getting in there.I feel like this would last a lot longer if you don’t leave it out in the weather, I may move it to the inside part of my barn my goats can wander into just to keep it a bit nicer. It’s not fancy but it’s built fairly well and stitched together nicely and cuts down on wasted hay.

Didnt last a week at our place
Its was fraying right out of the package. I still gave it a shot. It didnt last a week in the pen. It got tore up quickly and got caught on the animals foot. The stap was good quality and I liked the clip on it. It gave a good range of length.

Decent feeder bag
This is a preliminary review, prior to usage, and I will update this review once I have seen how durable it is over some time.It is exactly as described. The bag should hold a decent amount of hay. I am giving it 4 stars however, because the material is not that thick, and I am doubting it will hold up to horses or any wildlife really, for more than a season. I am personally going to use this to offer the deer who pass through my yard some alfalfa during the winter months, when there won’t be much of anything for them to forage. I also anticipate raccoons climbing all over this since they regularly climb the tree I will be hanging this from, so that may play a factor in it’s wear and tear. However, I know horses, and if a deer or raccoon can hurt this bag, a horse could do it in even more record time. My hopes aren’t incredibly high, but this feeder bag may yet surprise me yet! For the current price of 6.99, I can’t really complain, even if it only lasts a season, which is why I’m giving it an initial 4 star review. I will update once the deer have had a chance to test this for a season. If it serves our purposes this year, I wouldn’t mind purchasing another at the current listing price in the future.

Perfect size for horse trailer
If your needing a hay storage bag for the horse trailer or on the go this easy to use bag is the one for you. Will hold enough hay for my daughterâs Barrel horse rather than having to haul bales out for the day. Stuff, hang and youâre ready to go. Works well tied to the side of the trailer when waiting. Great price, easy to store away when not in use. Easy to fill and with the material easy to clean and air dry.

Great feeding bag for in the trailer!!
I use this bag to feed my horse while on trail rides and it works just great , I use it for the trailer on the way back from the arenas and itâs working great !! Easy to use easy to move around its a canvas type material easy to clean easy to use !! It fits about 2 flanks in it maybe 3 if you pack it down but I usually just add the 2 flanks of hay

The donkeys love it
