POWERFUL CRAWLING INSECT KILLER : Effectively kills a wide range of crawling insects including ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, earwigs, silverfish, and spiders. A natural solution for indoor and outdoor pest control without harsh chemicals.
100% DIATOMACEOUS EARTH WITH NO ADDITIVES : Made from pure freshwater diatomaceous earth, this powder is non-toxic, pet-friendly (when used as directed), and safe for use around kids and animals. A trusted choice for eco-conscious households.
KILLS INSECTS MECHANICALLY, NOT CHEMICALLY : Works by dehydrating insects on contact through physical abrasion. Insects walk through the powder and the fine particles damage their exoskeleton, leading to rapid dehydration and death.
LONG-LASTING INDOOR & OUTDOOR PROTECTION : Remains effective as long as the powder stays dry. Use in basements, attics, gardens, garages, and entry points to create a barrier against future infestations.
EPA REGISTERED – Registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (No. 3-18)
BUILT-IN PUFFER TIP FOR PRECISE CONTROL – The included powder duster features a narrow, easy-to-use puffer tip that allows for targeted application in tight spaces and cracks. Apply just the right amount of diatomaceous earth exactly where insects hide—no waste, no mess.
TRUSTED BRAND SINCE 1928: Harris has been providing effective pest control and insect management solutions for nearly a century, trusted by professionals and homeowners alike.
Customers say
Customers find the diatomaceous earth effective against various insects, including ants and bedbugs, and appreciate its safety as it’s non-toxic to humans and pets. The product is easy to apply with the included applicator, and customers consider it a great quality product. While some customers say it’s worth the price, others find it overpriced. The powder is messy to work with, and customers report issues with the applicator getting clogged during use.

Works Great and Super Easy to Use
I bought this Harris Diatomaceous Earth to deal with some ants and other crawling bugs around the house, and itâs been working really well. The powder is super fine and not sticky at all â it spreads easily and doesnât leave any kind of residue or mess. The little powder duster that comes in the bag is really handy. It makes it easy to apply the product in corners, along baseboards, and even outside around the foundation. The bag itself seals tightly, so thereâs no worry about it spilling or getting moisture inside. The product quality feels high, and you donât need to use a lot for it to be effective. For the size of the bag, itâs a great deal â plenty of powder for multiple applications.Pros: easy to use, clean to apply, good seal on the bag, great valueCons: none â it works just as describedOverall, this is a great natural way to control insects without harsh chemicals. Iâd definitely buy it again.

Needs to stay dry
Works great, ants at front door, and one of my bedroom windows. My son n law sprinkled powder outside around my window and front door. Seems to me Ants donât want to get in near it. Not sure, but theyâre staying away from door and stopped coming in my window. I like that itâs not toxic, I have budgies free 24/7 I will not use it inside my room because itâs a powder. will not work if it gets wet, not an issue for me. Iâll just put more.

Terrified of Bugs, Finally Found a Pet-Safe Solution That Works
I am absolutely TERRIFIED of bugs, and Iâve tried every natural option I could find. This Harris Diatomaceous Earth is now my go-to because itâs safe to use around pets (huge win as a dog owner) and itâs the first thing thatâs been 100% effective without harsh chemicals. How It WorksThis isnât an instant kill like chemical sprays, and it doesnât repel insects from entering. Instead, once bugs come into contact with it, they donât stick around for long. Iâve seen ants, roaches, and even centipedes disappear after applying a thin layer. It takes a little patience, but the results are consistent.Best Tips⢠Sprinkle a thin layer along outside the front and back doors, baseboards, under sinks, or near appliances⢠Keep it dry (moisture stops it from working)⢠I move my dog out of the room while applying and use a light hand to keep dust down. What could be better:The container tip clogs often. A quick tap on a hard surface clears it, but it can be frustrating. Itâs also a fine powder, so it can get dusty (a mask or gentle application helps)Bottom LineIf youâre like me and want something natural, effective, and safe for pets, this is it. The packaging could be improved, but the peace of mind is priceless.

It works as advertised, but it only kills bugs and does not repel them
DTE is a mixed bag. If you blast a cockroach with DTE, it will be very unhappy and it will eventually die even if it only touches or eats some DTE. But it wonât die right away, and it wonât repel any of these pests on its own. I think itâs best used in combination with other bug repellents, poisons, and traps to increase their effectiveness, e.g. on bait in a trap so that even if the bug gets away, the DTE will kill it.You have to snip the tip of the bottle to use it, and depending on how big a hole you make, the tip can sometimes get clogged, but just smacking the bottle on a hard surface will unclog it.

This stuff works. Use as directed and wear a mask if using applicator.
I live in public housing and there is a huge bug problem… roaches & bedbugs. I had both for a while until someone suggested Diatomaceous earth. I put some of this all over the place at first, right on the kitchen counters where roaches crawl, all around the bed, even on the bedframe itself on the flat parts, I put it everywhere I saw a bug ;Didn’t take long for the entire population of both kinds of bugs to die off. I rarely see a roach or a bedbug now, despite the neighbor’s places crawling with them. I can live like a normal person while others , who refuse to even consider doing the work it takes, live in squalor. This stuff made my life so much better I keep a bag of it around to help others if they will take it. If you don’t get it wet it will last a very long time. Bugs crawl through it and die quite soon after. It’s safe as long as you wear a mask while applying it with the applicator. It’s so good that the exterminator does not come in my apartment, he says I do a better job than his spray can do. He says I have the best apartment in the building as far as lack of bugs goes.It has no smell. It doesn’t blow around unless you point a blast of air directly at it. You can make little berms of it wherever bugs crawl ; they crawl through it and then they die soon after, carrying it back to the nest where it will kill others too. GREAT PRODUCT all natural just don’t breathe it in directly and even if you do it won’t hurt you in small amounts just agitate your throat a little bit.

Great product, poor packaging
I swear by this stuff, I have lived in a few rentals that have had bug problems. They build up a tolerance for whatever the pest control is using. It’s usually the kitchen, so we put this as a line down around the base boards, between the stove and cabinets as well as between the refrigerator and cabinets. Any key places you’ve seen the bugs to know they will travel through the powder. Keep in mind, it is very fine, I recommend gloves, eyewear, and a mask. Now, for this option, I did not like the tool included as it would get clogged every few pumps, I would have to take the attachment off and tap it out before repeating that over. It was also buried in the bag so it was covered and made a huge mess before I even got started. When I was done and tried closing the bag, the zipper would not work because the powder was compacted in the line. I tried cleaning it out but I could never get it to close, I ended up folding it over and using a big binder clip to keep it shut. Not impressed with the packaging.

Just get your beds outside to the sun it doesn’t work alone you need an actual bug repellent to be acompany it
Cloud –
Awful packaging. Sprinkler is DEEP INSIDE and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get it outside without pouring everything out. Otherwise risk spill and ton of dust around you. And zip-lock doesn’t work at all.
