If you have kitties, you need these
These were so cheap, I really didn’t have very high expectations. However, they met and exceeded what I had hoped for! My old kitty, Chunky, has never really scratched much. A few things here and there, but she’s not a destructive cat generally… until these. She loves them. My little kitty, Henrietta, was similarly happy with them. They are relatively small, but they attract the kitties like nothing I’ve ever seen.

Cat scratcher pad.
These are okay. I feel these are for younger cats/kittens only due to size. They are not as large as other scratcher pads I’ve purchased. But due to its smaller size it will fit in more places. As my kitties get larger they seem to prefer larger scratch pads. In my opinion these would be great for kittens and cats under 6 months of age. Would just advise to check the dimensions of this item to make sure you know what to expect.

Smaller than advertised, sloppy tape job
The product images for these cardboard scratchers make them look *significantly* larger than they are. They are much smaller than the standard sizes you typically see. The tape job is also ridiculously sloppy, further limiting the scratchable surface. I didn’t expect much for the price, and the affordability is why I give them 3 stars, but somehow they still manage to disappoint. You’re buying no-frills cardboard but it might have been better to pay a little more for a baseline standard of quality.

Good, but not exactly as expected
I was looking to replace my current scratch pad for my cats, who throw the pieces of cardboard around like confetti, and drag the pad across the room. My cats aren’t very large, so I thought this would accommodate them nicely. I did receive two pads, and they are of extremely decent quality. But the photo makes it look like these are in a tray, and they are not. There’s a heavy duty paper tape around the edges, and nothing on the bottom. Plus the scratcher itself is about a third of the size of the ones everywhere else – even using the double-sided sticky tape that’s included, it was not nearly large enough, as my adult cats are too long to be on the scratcher and use their front claws to scratch at the same time.
