Very cute and perfect for mice
Love this because it fits with a variety of bottles if you don’t like the one it comes with like I did. The color is so nice and you can find other hides that match on here very easily. Still have this months after I got it for my mice and it keeps clean water for them in the cage!

The water bottle I was looking for
I was having issues finding a water bottle that would work for my hamster. I wanted one that fit into a base and not need hung. This one goes into the “cactus” base and has two different levels for it to come out. I like that. It gives options depending on your set up. The water bottle itself isn’t that large, but that isn’t an issue as I clean and refill mine frequently. My hamster is too big to fit all of the way into the hide at the base, but that isn’t what I wanted it for anyway. My hamster has managed to tip this over once, but I have had it in his cage for days now and only one tip over. Worth the price for sure.

These look adorable in the enclosure. Theyâre sturdy after being buried a bit in bedding, and theyâre a perfect size for a Syrian hamster.

Liked it while it lasted
We liked it. It was nice to have a water bottle internal to the cage, one the gerbils couldn’t knock over. The capacity was a bit on the small side, but we were dealing with the frequent refills.The problem is that the gerbils nibbled on it, eventually (within weeks) destroying it by separating the metal part from the bottle. They got yo it even though we put it in the higher opening.

Not chew proof, and falls over easily.
We got this yesterday.It’s not been in the cage for 24 hours yet.They didn’t chew the ceramic, but there’s nothing protecting the plastic water bottle inside.They chewed where the straw connects to the cap and now it’s leaking from there.The straw leaks as well.Not even a full day.It’s also terribly unbalanced. The base is no wider than the top, and there’s not enough in the bottom to counterweight the top – so it falls over easily.Pass on this.

Ich liebe es und und unsere Zwerghamsterdame auch. Wir hatten bereits den Wasserflaschenhalter im passenden Design. Allerdings wurde dieses Versteck nur in China angeboten und ich hatte Sorge wegen dem Transport. Aber es kam gut verpackt und unbeschadet und heile hier an! Es ist ein wunderschön gearbeitetes Keramikversteck, nicht zu groÃ, nicht zu klein. Der kleine Kaktus ist gut für Zwerghamster und Mäuse gut geeignet. (Wäre schön wenn Amazon es direkt in sein Sortiment mit aufnimmt, es gäbe sogar noch die passenden Futternäpfe. 😉 Und viel besser als so manche Kunststoffprodukte. )
